GuGu!! Glad you had an overall nice trip and were able to save some of the budget!! What restaurants did you go to? Any recommendations, espically the place in Chinatown that you were talking about!

Sorry to hear that the Venetian lacked in its services! Such a grand hotel, you would expect decent quality customer service.

go to noodle house! it's a thai restaurant! you have to try one of the noodle dishes it's like number 22-30 or something. the combo noodle soup or the roasted duck noodle soup! it's delicious! the location of the restaurant is very near the main entrance of chinatown, just tell the taxi driver to take you to the main entrance. here is a map that i made.

i had pulled up in a taxi and a guy was there to open the door for me. i also checked in at a non-busy time so i didn't have a wait.

i never went to the pool, so didn't know the service was so bad. i heard they have a topless pool though.

and i never play slots so i wouldn't know about the servers there. but as a rule, the drink girls hang around the tables more than the slots.

where do you think you'll stay next time? i want to try aria.

lucky you! our limo driver had to come around and open the door for all of us then he got the bags out of the trunk and got it over to the door for us after he didn't see anyone come over to help. i tipped him $20 bucks just because he was so nice. my friend was freaked out when she saw him holding up my name with a huge smile. she thought we were taking a shuttle.

the garden pool is nice, we didn't go over to the bigger pool because we liked our garden pool. and it was so close to us anyways. yeah, i think i saw one server during the time we were there and she never came over to greet us.

the mirage has a topless pool too, i think it's called bare or something. i don't think i would go there... i saw enough boobies on the streets. there were so many drunk girls who would pull their shirts up for a glow light. pathetic.

yes, but they do still come around the slot machines. and after you order you're supposed to get a drink. i've never had someone not bring me something i already ordered.

i am going back in september, it'll be a free trip since my cousin is paying for it. she likes the wynn, because she has connections there, but i want to stay at either the mirage, bellagio, or caesars palace. my goal is to stay at all the hotels there.

Talking bout the Mirage, that is where my family stayed when we first went to Vegas. As I was much younger, barely remember much, but it was enjoyable. The hotel is def very clean and fancy. The pool is really amazing and spacious! I think you should stay sometime!

alright, I'm going to Vegas 2x this month!! Got a good deal both times.

First trip is next week by myself. Main purpose is to ride my bike around the Red Rock Canyon.

I want to see O by Cirque du Soleil show, or maybe Le Reve. Is it ok to see it by myself? My friend does not want to see it.

I loved O, but I know some people who found it slower and preferred other Cirque productions.

November and early December seem to be good time to visit. Some shows (such as Mystere, KA, etc) are 50% off, plus good hotel/pkg deals, plus near perfect weather.

It will die b/c you will get tired of going to Vegas. You also will not go back as often once you have a wife and kids. you'll be going to Disneyland and Hawaii.
