Default Your favorite former member of the Beatles?

As a band, the Beatles were the greatest force in pop music during the second half of the 20th Century. As individuals, at least three of them continued to be rock superstars during the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. Who is your favorite former Beatle?

George Harrison for me. The most technically proficient musician in the group. I was about to vote for Ringo Starr out of pity. Poor guy.

Poor guy? Ringo is the luckiest bastard ever to walk the Earth! Out of the blue, he got asked to join the band that would go on to become the most successful, most revered band of all time...mostly because he wasn't as good looking as Pete Best!

Pete Best, I kind of feel sorry for...fired from the band just before they hit it big.

But Ringo was definitely the better drummer between the two. Pete's drumming was really limited. Ringo was no Keith Moon or John Bonham, but he could hold his own.

The set has everything except what most hardcore Beatles fans want these days: the entire catalogue *remastered*.

I wonder just whom they're marketing this set to. The established Beatles fans already have these CDs and have probably ripped the tracks to their MP3 players ages ago. A neophyte isn't going to want to plunge that much money into the whole catalogue right away.
