爱是最最奇幻的魔术
让人都要对它趋之若鹜
这场魔术都是要结束
真爱是箭在弦上不认输
The casting is so wrong and why are they adding in a new character that was barely introduced to the games.
the plot sounds suspiciously similar to Mortal Kombat.
It's a fighting game so there will always be a fighting tournament... duh.
I'm surprised there's even a market for these type of movies. Who the heck go see these low quality flicks? Can they make profits with such projects? I guess so else nobody would do them, but it's really hard for me to understand.
Oooh, Chiaki Kuriyama.
Because I'm somewhere in between,
My love and my agony.
There's a character called Craig Marduk in the games who uses vale tudo but I don't think he will be in the movie. If he is than he's most likely be played by Nathan Jones but it's not listed on imdb and I don't remember where I got this from.
One would assume these movies would be successful if backed by the popularity of the video games they're based on but the problem is, most of the time the creators of the video games would just sell their rights to whichever studio that want to make a film for a quick buck.
Usually movie like this doesn't need high-budget for example for a big action sequence. It only need some interesting environment where two or more person beating themselves to death.
For a 10-20 million should be ok, usually will get double of its budget combine with International box-office collection. For example DOA movie, sure its cheesy, but LOL, lots of guys want to watch Holly Valance changing lingerie on air or fighting in a soaked wet t-shirt and that include yours truly . So yes there is always market especially to all geek fandom, otaku and avid gamers.
