Default Which hero has the best teachers in the trilogy?

Which hero has the best teachers in the trilogy?

    1. LOCH - GJ
Teachers - 7 freaks, H7G, ZBT (he learnt L/R technique from him)

    2. ROCH - YG
Teachers - OYF (he learnt Toad stance), HYS (he learn TZSG and LHYZ), XLN, H7G (he learnt part of the DGB), HR (he learnt the other part of DGB), Big Bird .

    3. HSDS - ZWJ
Teachers - Z3F only, the other skills he learnt himself.

Of course it would be my Guo er!

No seriously though, YG had so many great level fighters teaching him. And of course no one can beat Big Bird.

I have to say YG too. I mean, look at that huge list!! OYF, H7G, HYS; that's 3 of the 4 greats already! Add a GJ and HR too...
    Yeah, hands down YG

best teachers as in best fighters? in that case, of course YG wins.

or the best at "teaching"? in that case, I would say GJ (anyone who can make something of him is a great teachers--so props to H7G & Ma Yu)

or do we take the "averaged" teaching abilities of the teachers? then, ZWJ would win because he only had ZSF, whereas people like crazy OYF and Jiang Nan 7 Freaks will drag the average down for YG and GJ.

Best teacher has nothing to do with best fighter.

GJ has the best teachers in H7G and Ma Yu. They got through to him.

ZSF was great, but we must take in account that ZWJ was a natural. Wonder what ZSF could do with a studen like GJ.
You do know that it is just fiction, dont you?

guess you can say H7G and Ma Yu were great teachers for holding out with someone as dumb as GJ.

I still think that YG had the best teachers and is also considered to be the most powerful among the greats

I dont consider GJ as dumb, but rather slow. He compenate by work ten times harder. If he were dumb, then it wouldnt have helped if he work 1000 times harder. He wouldnt understand no matter what.

Hu Qing-niu for Zhang Wu-ji. And the Golden Mane Lion King taught him 7 Injury Fist. His father also taught him some Wudang Kung Fu.

Yang Guo's most effective teacher is probably JLFW. He pretty much said one thing that completely changed YG's fighting style for the better. H7G, OYF and HYS just gave him more diversity to work from.

It was mentioned at the beginning of ROCH that HYS also taught GJ some martial arts.

This sounds kinda strange but GJ also learned some stuff from OYF. OYF forced GJ to practice with him near the end of LOCH which helped GJ improved tremendously in terms of applying his skills to real battles.

JeBe (sp?) taught GJ archery. I am not sure if GJ would use that in a fight, but he would be able to if there was no other choice.

It turned out to be useful on two occassions: first, when Gwok Jing used his archery skill to deflect the Golden Wheel Monk's arrow when the monk shot at him at the gates of Seung Yeung, and second, when Gwok Jing again used archery to send Yeung Gor a much-needed sword to fight the Golden Wheel Monk near the end of ROCH.

KJ is not dumb when it comes to kung fu. He's a very rare talent. Huang Rong would be dumb compared to KJ when it comes to learning kung fu skills. Being a dumb person overall does not mean that the person would not be gifted in certain other areas.

I tend to agree. Even though I think Guo Jing is stupid as well, in terms of martial arts, he is much above average.
