Let's harken back to a happier time...

with all the negative entertainment news and the bitterness in some of the debate topics here, i propose we, as spcnet membs, do something fun. the mini-las vegas gathering did not pan out, but that does not mean that we all can't get to know one another a little better. so, in the spirit of spcnet idol, what say we try another spcnet version of a popular reality show. here are some of my suggestions:

1) spcnet survivor! we create brand new forum for 12 members. they are not allowed to post elsewheres and will be voted off and banned. winner will be allowed back into the regular spcnet community with a $10 yesasia voucher or something i already have a list of ppl i'd like to see go...i mean...play.

2) spcnet so you think you can dance. spcnet membs will upload vids of their snazzy dancing skills and we vote on who will become spcnet's next fav dancer! *plays exciting music*

3a) spcnet flavor of love. we assemble a cast of 20 membs for one lucky bachelor/bachelorette. clocks will be given out and hilarity will ensue.

3b) spcnet shot of love. same as above, except we use our resident lesbo/silly male with identity crisis, and give away..what do they give on that show anyways? revealing outfits required.

4) (the serious one) spcnet in the actors studio with james lipton (aka pembie). we can nominate a member that we want to know a little better. say, a certain soap opera-esque aussie doctor, or the girl moddie who likes to have either white or something white in her sn, or the aforementioned lesbo/identity crisisee, or maybe that guitar playing kid who likes to post only in threads about japanese rock. or...pj or ren wo xing or any of the other guys who are into male strip clubs.

questions can be submitted to the host (me) and the host shall choose some not too invasive ones to ask (no color/texture/aroma of bodily fluids).

let me know if you guys think this is a good idea and any members you'd like to nominate and questions you'd like to pose. or if you think this idea is dumb and we should all go back to discussing aspects of edison chen's sex life and photography hobby.

Hehehe...there is a certain member that I would like to see banned for being so mean to me (just kidding) , and I don't particularly care if I get banned either, so I'm game for this one. Still confuse about the game plan, though.

hmmm...i wonder where you've gotten this idea from... I just hope that the bachelor/bachelorette looks better than that New York or Flava Flay, or whatever his name is.

"Seriousness" is not in my nature, but I would love to learn more about our super uptight mod, Ken Cheng.

Yeah, Edison' scandal has definitely taken over Spcnet IMO, but I have been long over the whole odreal. All I really care about now are when they are going to release the new pictures and the video.

But the scandal is mostly being carried out in Gillian's thread. Got deleted in the Entertainment section and I don't see elsewhere in the forum. Perhaps the debate, but that didn't last too long.

#2) Well this is something new, I can't dance, too emotionless; so, not even trying it. I just might put people into zombie mode, lol.

As for the Gillian and Edison scandal, its a sad thing blown up and magnified 100x, already moved on; share you humor and fun with all of us at Spcnet. Invite the Spcnet Member drama B****ing and yelling, and many more; why not go off topic too. It helps loosen things up! I've already seen two people gone way off topic from another forum; no choice for the admin, but to moved it into another off topic giantantic thread of 5+pgs; so massive replies. Its so humorous when people would keep on putting up more off topic unrelated material onto the off topics, as commerical breaks, for the 2 engaging massive replying duet duo.

this will take too much time and effort. coming to spcnet is for relaxation, if i had to think i'd rather go to AF.

no one will upload a vdo of themself when they don't even want to show their pics. i see 2-4 members posting and at least 2 of those clips are bound to be fake.

I think we need brain storming on ideas. Alot of the listed ideas are going to take alot of effort and resource. For example, #1, what happens to the losers again? they stay in that one forum/banned???? Also would require SPC's participation to create the particular forum. And no offense but....i hardly see her.
