I've read somewhere that in the aftermath of SENTIMENTAL SWORDSMAN, RUTHLESS SWORD, Lee Chum Foon and Sheun Siu Hung become intimately involved.

How many years apart are Lee and Sheun? I reckon he's at least thirty years her senior. Doesn't anyone find the idea a bit...disturbing?

I think they age difference is somewhere around 10 to 15. Li XunHuan wasn't that old start with he was in thirties where as the girl was starting her adulthood I guess.

Was Lee Chum Foon that young when we first see him in SSRS? He had already been in the hinterlands for twenty years, and he wasn't a teenager when he left. I think he was at least forty, wasn't he?

He wasn't in the hinterlands for 20 years but ten years. When he come back Long Xiao Yun's red child was round ten years old.

I guess the age difference should be around 25 years, but that is still much less than the extreme case of Huo Tian Qing's parents in Lu Xiao Feng book 1.

His father was over 70 by the time he got married to a young woman.

Huo's father was the best fighter of his time, and his father's eldest 2 disciples were in their 70s and reputed to be the best in the martial world if I recall correctly. Huo seemed to be in his early 30s at most I think.
