Dry run as in practicing something before it actually happens.
Is there such a thing as "wet run?" If so, what does it mean?

I vaguely remember being told of "wet run" by my lecturer in my programming class. It's like a counter-check maintenance after the dry-run sequence...something like that. I only know its one of the sequences after dry-run.
What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!
I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?
From my Aviation Accounting lecturer : Wet run basically means a real point of doing something/training. Like flight simulators; dealing with real live situation on piloting a flight. or maintenance crew; dealing with repairing real live engines or landing gears, or flight attendants; with the real 14 or whatever hours of flight, they will serve the passengers as real live flight.
