I've been watching "Always Smiles!", starring Zhang Jia Ni, Ming Dao, Achel Chang. It's somewhat a light-hearted series so far. In some way, part of the plot is leading to a Cinderella story with many subplots.
The competition for attention for romance continues to build. Get a chance, just watch it! Moocho enjoyable.

Ming Dao (as Liang Yufang 梁宇方, aka Fang Liang 方梁) portrays the heir to a 5-star hotel named "Pullman". To avoid being put on the spotlight, he opted to work from the ground level as a trainee and assumed a new identity named Fang Liang. MD always plays a cool and composed dude. He has this calm, deep and poker-face mystique that can drive you nuts!

Zhang Jia Ni (as Xiang Tian Wei 向天微) plays a poor gal who always struggles to eke out a living, while attending to the needs of an autistic younger brother and a gambling father. Her role brings out the spunky characters. ZJN also has a sweet visage and playful side. I wish she gets better varieties of hairstyles in Always Smiles. I like her in more fluffy and/or trendy hairdos. She's extra cute ripping a smirk. Just feel like giving her a big fat hug, and then a few more!

Ma Ke, Achel Chang and ZJN are like 3 musketeers. Ma Ke likes ZJN alot in the series. Anyway, Ma Ke has this mohawk hairdo resembling a warrior from the Trojan War in Greek mythology. His role makes him quite energetic and causes a stir. ZJN's loyal songstress friend Achel Chang adds colors to ZJN's life and career.

MD and ZJN have been quite lovey-dovey throughout. The subplots drag out the series a bit, but they are tolerable. I couldn't stand the drinking and gambling father who is nothing but troubles. I wish I could beat the _______ out of him - so annoying. The loan sharks did.

I'm up to episode 24 - 9 more to go. Tata....

when i first saw pix of her from dream links, i was not impressed. however, after seeing pix of her from gong 2 and from gong 2promotions, i quickly became a fan of her beauty. what changed? she seems so much more beautiful now, more exotic looking. is it because she lost some baby fat? but she's definitely on my radar. i'll try to watch dream links for her (or maybe not. the plot does not interest me) or wait until a really interesting series of hers come out and see her on screen. she's totally gorgeous.

Hmm, watching Strands of love since I haven't watched an idol drama in awhile. The link takes forever to load (can't find it on youtube!), and I'm only on the first episode, but I'm liking the show so far.

She's lost lots of weight though (from SoL to Palace 2).

omg i'm actually REALLY liking her in The Patriot Yue Fei as Su Su
