Default Raise your hand if you hate coffee

    *Raises hand*

Millions of people around the world swear by the stuff (which is why Starbucks is so ungodly rich), but I can't stand coffee myself. I think it tastes awful, and it shoots my nerves to hell.

Does having beaten a coffee addiction count?
I quit coffee for health reasons about 16 years ago.

    I don't drink coffee.

And I hate wine - thought it tastes awful. Guess I am weird.

I am a coffee drinker, at least 3-4 cups a day. If the day is busy and with many meetings maybe 8- 10 cups. Funny thing is I can drink coffee just before bed and still falls right off to sleep.

hehe, wine is good with dinner, better than hard alcohol or beer in my view.
If you hate wine, I suggest that you give ice-wine a try. It is a little sweet, good as a desert, with cheese and frut plate and even with meals.
A good harvest bottle set you back $100 plus, but with $10-$20 you can get a good second run bottle on sale.

I don't actually like Starbucks, although I have drank frappachinos and Lattes from there, I don't particularly favor them.

For me, I don't hate coffee but I don't label myself as a fan of coffee, because I certainly don't drink it everyday. I prefer tea, water, fruit juices, V8, and others. And I don't drink coffee everyday as a habit, I only drink it when I need that extra boost to keep me awake to finish essays and homework whenever I'm tired or sleepy. Strangely though, I prefer drinking the cold Caribou Coffee Espresso and I actually like the taste of it. I like the Espresso's bold taste than the Vanilla one.

Actually I hate all sorts of alcohol, beer or wine. Champagne is the absolute worst.
But you're right, I've tried ice-wine before and it's more tolerable.

I don't even like pop. Oh dear am I weird.

You cannot say you dislike Champagne unless you have tried Dom Perignon

I dislike the taste of coffee. I only drank it a couple of times in my life and I can say I'm never trying it again. I prefer milk tea as it has a better flavor IMO and it doesn't affect health.

I don't drink coffee either. One time at a hotel when I had to make coffee in order to keep awake, I totally did not know how to work the coffee machine. I ended up drinking coffee grains.

I also hate alcohol. Don't know what the big deal about people getting so addicted to such stuff is. I like pop though... Actually, I love ice green tea.

I think I'm addicted. Every morning I've brew coffee. After that after every meal, no matter where I am at, my mind would automatically drift to thinking about having some coffee. I even thought of working at Starbucks once.

As far as eatable things, I like anything sweet, and I dislike anything not sweet.
I put 3 times more splenda in coffee than most people.

I'm not addicted to caffeine. I don't have to drink coffee in order to function. Premium espresso (not Starbucks, but Illy) is delicious; thus, I drink coffee because I like taste. In the first few sips, it's bitter than later becomes sweet.

    Coffee haters can try

    1. Coffee ice cream = 2 shot of fresh espresso + premium vanilla ice cream

    2. white mocha = 1 shot of espresso + milk + good white chocolate

yes, good coffee is certainly delicious. i suppose it may also be an acquired taste.

i enjoy coffee for the aroma (and sometimes taste--if it's not bitter), though it hardly keeps me awake. if anything, the milk has more effect on making me drowsy

I love coffee, can't get enough of the stuff, its like part of my daily life. Though cas I'm a big coffee drinker, I tend to be really picky with my coffee, the beans, the milk, the machine and even the barista!

I don't like Starbucks coffee, I tried it cas I heard all this hype about it but when I actually drank it, it had to be one of my worst cups I've ever had. It tasted like very watered down instant coffee and it was too milky. It was disgusting.

I have to agree with jay_z, Illy is good, though the current cafe that I go to now serves Veneziano, thats pretty good too. They also use this particular brand of Milk (can't remember the brand) which I think is specially used for Lattes, Caps ect, which just seems creamier then other brands of milk. Hmm can you tell that I love coffee! Lol

Mocha ice cream is good, as well as mocha cakes.
