Or Wang Chong-yang and Lin Chao-ying could turn the tables on Dugu Qiubai and create and exploit his flaws.

One on one fair fight, Wong Chung Yeung would have close to 0% of winning the fight. However, with two on one fight, I can see Wong Chung Yeung + Lam Chiu Ying have a pretty good chance. However, even Wong Chung Yeung + Lam Chiu Ying are able to beat Dook Goo Kau Bai, there is nothing for them to be proud of. After all, it's not a fair fight. Just like GWM, when he and other fighters gang up on Kwok Jing, there is nothing for him to be proud of as it's not a fair fight. However, he is never for fair fight.

Even the good guys use superior numbers sometimes.

The Gong Nam 7 Freaks were honorable people and heroes, but they hardly went into any fight without all seven (or six, after Cheung Ah Sang died) of them together. Their enemies were often stronger than they were.

Gwok Jing and Wong Yung often fought two-on-one against the likes of Kau Cheen Yan and West Poison Au Yeung Fung during LOCH when they were not powerful enough to take on such enemies singlehandedly.

Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung taught his seven students the 7 Stars Big Dipper Formation specifically so that they could take advantage of their numbers to match up against more powerful foes.

Yeung Gor and Little Dragon Girl used Double Sword Attack to fight Golden Wheel Monk when neither of them was powerful enough to take him one-on-one.

So both the good guys and bad guys play the superior numbers game.

Interesting question and one I think there is no answer to.

All three of them have shown the ability to create arts in accordance to their personalties, WCY daoist philosophy and his upright attitude, LCY her emotions and need to be with WCY, finally the sword devil with his obsession with defeat.

I predict an encounter between the three of them to be one of eternal one-upmanship, with the Sword Devil being dazzled by the fantastic sword-play of the other two in their first encounter, then going away and formulating a way to counter it, which would in turn force LCY & WCY to draw deeper from each other to defeat him and so on and so on.
