    Smile Review : Bichunmoo Remix

    Title : Bichunmoo(Korea/Japan market version)
Starring : Joo Jin Mo as Yoo Jin Ha
    Park Ji Yun as Suli
Synopse : TV series version of Manga Bichunmoo

Review : Having been dissapointed by the original Chinese version of Bichunmoo three years ago, I started watching this remixed version(Only 14 episodes long with new soundtrack and heavy-editing) of Bichunmoo with a reservation. Was I so wrong, it's like watching a totally new series. Being only 14 episodes long, the story is very fast paced and never drags. HD presentation of series delivers you the eye-popping beautiful details that you never saw from the original Chinese version aired in SD. The soundtrack is all redone too, and fits the plot very nicely unlike somewhat dull Chinese soundtrack.

In other word, this is Bichunmoo that was meant to be, and I strongly recommend Chinese viewers who saw the original series to rewatch the remix version, it is a totally new experience that makes you forget about the lackluster original cut..

I just saw the first ep, i heard it had very low ratings in korea
actually the first ep wasn't so bad
i never watched the chinese version before so i can't compare
i did watch the movie version and i really liked it
the settings, scenery, costumes were OK, it's like a mainland china serie, nothing special
they didn't have a lot of fighting scenes in ep 1, i hope they're gonna be more fighting scenes in the upcoming eps coz it is based on a wuxia novel....

the choreography of the fighting scenes were average quality
nothing special, it can't tip with choreograpy they used in high budget wuxia mainland china productions
but korea isn't a wuxia productions country so it's not fair to compare them with chinese wuxia productions

if u keep in mind that wuxia productions is sth quite new for korea than bichunmoo tvserie isn't that bad for one of their first attempts
