The way i rate airports is not so much about how big it is and whether the shopping is extensive, for example. Of utmost importance, is how fast one clears immigration/customs and how fast the checked in luggage comes out. Changi in S'pore is definitely one of the world's best. If you are wondering; NO I am not a S'porean and I am just stating a fact.

Once, these important issues are resolved, the rest will fall into place. Kind of like, if the authorities have the brains and the means to sort these difficult issues out, the rest are just peanuts.

BTW, the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris sucks. Firstly, the airport employees don't treat non French speaking travellers very well and I am actually shocked that one have to take coaches between gates and the correct one at that. Not a very nice experience if you are rushing to catch the next flight.

Wow...I知 surprised that JFK is not even on the top 10 while Denver is at #5. I don't remember being impressed with its size or traffic when I was there.

lol...all of those airports can't even compare to Vietnamese's airport...Tan Son Nhat...we got only 9 international gates but still have millions of people visit every year lol....plus 3 in the country flight...
