I don't see this edge you're claiming. Even against Yideng, the one who would've practiced his martial the least, he was in a draw. Sure WY was worried for YD but this doesn't mean YD was losing either. Furthermore, the fact that it was said that YD kept gathering his internal energy only meant that he was not yet using full power either.

Edge or not, it was minimal at best.

Like I said before, JY isn't the type of writer whom you can analyze with just details alone. Based on what we saw of BWM's performance in ROCH, it's not obvious that DEP is superior to any of the other Greats' arts.

Also, BWM supposedly went further in Dragon Elephant Prajna than anyone ever had. If BWM lost to YG and took so long to beat QQR, even after attaining an almost impossible level in DEP, is DEP really that impressive?
