The series that caused you to dislike him/her

wow listing tvb actors and actress hah? well...i think i disliked everyone at one point or another. and most them i still dislike till now. like Melissa Ng and Joe Ma. liked them when they were supporting, dislike them now they play lead.

i don't think i ever liked anyone through and through. i still like Michelle Yim. who is old school and can play all characters. i did hate her in Zhuang Liang though. what a horrible character she had.

i think the only reason i watch movies now is cos i need sumthing to watch. and tvb are very short. but with the way its going now. it looks like the era of short 20ep series are going to come to a close soon.

I haven't watched any of the new TVB series, but in older series there was this actress that I didn't like much. Her name is Chan Wai Yee; I don't like her character in The Thief of Honour. And I don't like her in any other subsequent series.

Tavia Yeung - To be honest I didn't really know much about her up until Twin of Brothers...and absolutely couldn't stand her there.
However I came to realize after watching a few more series that she is indeed a very good actress, one of the better ones in TVB and seems like a friendly, approachable person offscreen. I started liking her again in A Pillow Case of Mystery, Yummy Yummy and Heart of Greed. Then I watched back some older series and realized TOB isn't the first time I saw her, in fact she appeared in Golden Faith and The Awakening Story, both some of my favorite series and her character/performances were enjoyable but I probably didn't recognize it was the same actress because 1) she wasn't well known back then and 2) proves her ability to act different characters convincingly

Now Tavia is one of my favorite actresses.

Sammul Chan - Reaching Out and Survivor's Law. Most of the time, I thought he was irritating and even if he was at most bearable in some series, I was never too big on him. My impression of him improved in The White Flame and after The Academy, I didn't mind him anymore. He also seems intelligent and well-rounded from the several interviews and articles I've read about him.

I so agree with you. Tavia Yeung really annoyed me, with her faceless expressions.... like that boring look. Idk, But I saw Pillow Case Mystery and I liked her again. I guess it was her character?

I reallyy disliked Charmane Sheh in Strike At Heart and then there was Sonija Kwok in LWOLP! BLEHHH. I saw Sonija, in Legend of Love with Deric Wan and she annoyed me super-mando! I fast-forwarded most of the movie to watch leila tong.

I disliked these two actresses for quite a while after too. Only recently I think they're ok~ acting has improved~ Linda Chung after Heart of Greed, and Charmaine after Glittering Days

I thought Linda didn't improove till A Journey Called Life.

But I think I started to like Charmaine when she was in The Drive of Life. I sort of liked her in Angels of Mission but after I saw her in Always Ready, I disliked her.

Linda Chung - let's just say I never liked her right from the beginning. She always lacks emotions and looks very stiff. Never has she proven me that she has the ability to act. Im not impressed with any of her performances.

Kate Tsui - In every singLe series! Boy does she annoy the heck outta me.

Jessica Hsuan - Her acting is good but for some reason, I don't like her. Maybe it's because I find her character in all series to be hecka annoying. I absolutely hated her in A Step Into the Past.

Wayne Lai - To me, he tries to hard to act funny. He sucked as ZBT in LOCH94, hated him in Safe Guards and was irritated by him in Best Bet. Perhaps Devil's Disciple was the only series that I found him to be okay.

Jamie Chik - The Yang's Saga 1985
I love her as she's one of my favourite actresses in the 80's and of course she's a beauty but I disliked her character in here. I never liked the Liao princess as her character is very selfish. Jamie sure acted her role well. I don't hate his but I DISLIKED her character.

Carina Lau - DOMD 84, The Young Wanderer 1985
I wasn't impressed with her acting, not to mention she was equally annoying in both series.

Gigi Lai - HSDS 2000
I like her as an actress but I absolutely hated "her portrayal" of ZM. She was so selfish, ignorant, annoying and boastful. Gigi acted this role really well but the way the director kinda changed this character, err I couldn't stand it.

Tavia Yeung : Building Block of Life . I used to like her but her poor performance makes me dislike her .

Elaine Yiu : Safe Guard . She is annoying . But I start like her again in a series named Sound of Silence .

Jessica Hsuan : Men' best friend . Like her again now .

Charmaine Seh : Seven Sisters . Poor acting . Now I like her again .

Gallen Lo : Golden Faith . He isn't fit .

Is she the girl that Ekin's character liked in the beginning, but she chose Dicky? If so, I don't like her either. The girl I'm talking about also played the angel-like character in Zu Mt. Saga, who later returned to the heaven realm w/ her lover who turned to stone. She almost always play characters that are said to have outstanding looks, but I always find other actresses to outshine her in the looks dept. Like Noel was waayyyy better looking (and more likeable) in Thief of Honor and her arch nemesis (the evil lady in red) was better looking in Zu Mt. Saga.

I think I started disliking Charmaine Sheh in Return of the Cockoo (perhaps earlier?), but I think she redeemed herself in Maiden's Vow (and I heard that her character was likeable in FH2, so I will probably wait till after I watch that to see).

I disliked Raymond Lam in Eternal Happiness (I liked him in Step in the Past), but I think he was okay in Face to Fate, so now I'm indifferent.

I dislike Dicky Cheung in Journey to the West (I liked him in earlier stuff like Glittering Fortune (if you know what show that is, Kudos to you) and Mystery of the Twin Swords I and II) and am really annoyed w/ his comedy acting style

I disliked Anne Heung in a lot of things (like Ms. Chan, mentioned above, she tend to play supposedly pretty ppl but don't look as good as others), but she was okay in Face to Fate, but I still don't think her acting was all that good, so I think it was a great career choice to go a diff. route.

I disliked Adam Cheng in Emperor's Shadow (actually earlier, can't recall when), but now I actually think he's okay (and maybe like him a bit, but don't know why).

I used to hate Ada Choi b/c of her characters in both Revelation of the Last Hero and The Link, b/c I was young and associate the character to the actress, but now she's probably my favorite actress (such a verstile actress).

I disliked Linda Chung since the beginning (VoH1) but she redeemed herself in FH, so now I'm indifferent to her, also.

Sonija Kwok was on my dislike list since Step in the Past, but I thought she was okay in D.I.E so now indiff. to her, too.

I don't like Toby Leung in all the stuff I've seen her in.
