Of course they can post whatever, haha, but it just sends the message of who they are and what they do. They can do whatever, but they can't control what other people think of them.

It's more of a social network thing for me, not really something I like to expose my entire life to. I do delete some people who obviously add me to boost their friend count, but for others, meh, you never know when you might need a social contact.

It isn't a big deal. It just gives you insights into someone's personality.
What are you fighting for? Just mix them into pissing beef balls, stupid.

People have different ideas of what's fun and social, some like drinking, some like going to a concert or orchestra.

You can just delete people if you're not close enough with them, or you can restrict who can view which parts of your profile.
    Absolutely agreed.

On top of that, I find FB a good networking source for me. I get to know practising or apprentice animators from overseas to share their experiences and views on animation and arts.

Whatever problems people have, not including the technical issues and FB layout problems, I think it's a self problem that the individual needs to look into. Being judgmental on people's personality and lifestyle that way doesn't make sense.

As the word goes saying "People live to their life. The world won't change for any individual."

Right....everyone is just judgemental. Let's all keep thinking that. Keep thinking that too when your employers check up on your facebook. Let's call the world utopia while we're at it.

actually, my a few of my friends removed pictures from their facebook when they realized that they had become "friends" with the recruiters of an internship program.

Again, Facebook has privacy settings. It's not that hard to protect your account.

It's actually quite funny because it's usually the people who like posting "certain" things/info/pictures about themselves that are the ones who don't set the appropriate privacy settings, and then *surprise* are the same ones who are complaining about they get into issues about what an evil place facebook is and how their privacy should be respected.

    Right...

Yeah, everyone is judgmental. So, let's measure a judgmentalist by levels? Too much is not healthy. Maybe, it's good to be so "concern"? I don't know. I, personally, am not a fan of over-concerning what others do. Let it be so long as it's not something immorally wrong. It'd be easier if people could let go alittle and concentrate on what one need to. It's healthier that way too. Is anyone a celebrity in here?

Is it difficult for one to care less of others' affair?

Lol obviously the point flew RIGHT over the head. You go and do your thing and pretend that everyone is one big happy family.

No one can stop people from thinking thoughts and forming opinions after they see things...good luck on attempting that feat.

hehe, I miss the early days of Facebook when it offered NO private settings, and you could spy on all the hot guys in your network. Most of the hotties nowadays turn the privacy dial too high!

Haha, so, the specific of the dos and don't are?

Personally, I am that lazy. I give my concerns necessarily, I try. Though I am likely to miss the details most of the times. I only wish I had that handful of time to meddle with the tracks of my every single friend in FB. Maybe I can, I have less than 50.

I am only bothered when "friend" posts porn on my wall.

Basically the point is, you go do your thing, whatever you want, whether it is preaching to people about what is the "right" way to think or what not.

At the end of the day, you aren't going to change a thing.

Geez, he's just stating his opinions, and you're stating yours.

PJ, whose network are you talking about? I doubt that there are that many "hot" guys in my network (with the exception of my boyfriend).

I find that about 10% of the facebook population is good looking, and about 1% are exceptionally gorgeous. Any network with over 10,000 members will have considerable eye candy.

Hairy men = get away from me, please.

Hairy men with nice personality = potential friends, but no oppty for advancement.

I do share my POV of right and wrong but when I overdo it, it becomes preaching. So, moral of the story is, don't overdo something.

A person's lifestyle may reveal something about them. But judgment of a person can also reveal something about them as they speak. Everything we do can reveal something us. Which is why, I no longer hold that conservative frame of mind and learn to be more accepting. And that, is a big change....no radio-active involved.

I say, have a break. Have a Kit Kat. Have some tea, and leave the change to Obama. He is the president, not us.

Really? Never knew that....we could be stating opinions...on a forum? Wow....By the way, you could start by getting the gender right.

Hahaa PJ you're so hilarious. Still trying the sex change thing?
