Previously, we discussed flashes of DFBB-like speed performed by Xiao Feng: http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/showpost...1&postcount=25
The above example shows Xiao Feng's DFBB-like attacking velocity. The way he dashed & attacked Evil #3 while holding Duan Zhengchun, is unbelievably fast. He also had no intention of killing Evil #3, or else Divine Croc might have been a goner. This is similar to DFBB's single-stance execution of the Master of Thundering Wind Hall - Tong Baixiong. Again, Xiao Feng had no intention of executing Evil #3, but he shows similar capability as DFBB.
There is another instance in the same chapter where Xiao Feng demonstrated DFBB-calibre evasive mobility:
段延庆心思机敏,不等萧峰放下段正淳,右手铁棒便如狂风暴雨般递出,一棒又一棒,尽是点向段正淳的要害。他 决意除去这个挡在他皇位之前的障碍,至于如何对付萧峰,那是下一步的事了。 萧峰提着段正淳左一闪,右一躲,在棒影的夹缝中一一避过。段延庆连出二十七棒,始终没带到段正淳的一片衣角 。
Duan Yanqing was trying his absolute hardest to kill Duan Zhengchun, but after 27 moves, he could not even touch the edge of Duan Zhengchun's shirt. Duan Zhengchun was, of course, being carried by Xiao Feng, who evaded all of Duan Yanqing's attacks.
This is similar to DFBB's evasion of the combined assaults from Xiang, Ren, and Linghu.
DFBB's advantages were:
-He wanted to fight back, whereas Xiao Feng did not have any intention to fight back. He just wanted to prevent Duan Zhengchun from being killed.
-He didn't have to hold another person while evading the attacks.
Xiao Feng's advantages were:
-He only had to deal with one person's assaults, whereas DFBB needed to deal with the combined assaults from 3 experts.
It's interesting to me because it shows that Xiao Feng can attack AND evade assaults similar to DFBB. As for the calibre of fighters they dealt with... In the first example, Evil #3 is probably not much inferior to Tong Baixiong (just my guess). In the second example, Duan Yanqing is obviously no match for the combined forces of 3 SPW experts; however, we have to keep in mind that Xiao Feng had the disadvantage in both cases of occupying one of his hands with another person, AND not intending to kill.
