Little surprised that there has been no thread for this yet. Looked on the first couple of pages and did a search (Sorry if there is one, pls merge if there is)

This series is directed by Zhang Ji Zhong, who also did the ROCH 2006 series.
It stars Huang Xiao Ming as Wei Xiao Bao.

It started broadcasting last week in parts of China, and the DVD should be coming out April 20.

What does everyone think? It looks a little too dramatic, imho. Doesn't have the sense of irreverence that was so key to the novel, but it could be the trailer...

However, it is also the most lush looking of any of the adaptations so far. The girls are also very pretty...

I hope that there are comments criticizing HXM for being too old for WXB role. He was as old as Jordan Chan when JC did the WXB role (imho still the best fit, all the other WXB are too handsome and suave)

That thread is for DoMD 2006, this is 2008
If that thread is referring to this version, that threads title should be fixed to look something like mine

Read the other one, we are talking about the same series. the title for that thread should really be corrected, you simply would not be able to tell that DoMD2006 is referring to 2008 without reading to pg 5 or more. Not sure what to do...

The reason why that thread's title is 2006 is because the film started filming in 2006. The thread was also started in 2006. So how could we know that Zhang Jizhong is going to release DOMD in 2008?

I guess you can PM a mod to change the title if you are that desperate. However, that doesn't guarantee a change since half the mods on SPCNets are now semi-active or inactive.
