I'll post my car in a jiffy - still trying to find where I put the photo
Ok here it is, my cheap car. This is Mitsubishi Lancer with an EVO INGS body-kit, Chargespeed Fender and a turbo engine transplant of EVO7 (about 350 HP on wheel). It's a weekend car. For everyday commuting, I only use cheap small Kei Car.
I still not try it on the track. However I tried on the highway and only got about 200KM per hour, my current landspeed record on the highway. I'm thinking to try something at the AutoBahn later on hahaha. Well it's still can go faster and get more top speed than that but there are many cars on the road so its hard to maintain top speed.
Mostly I use it to zigzagging on a normal three lanes road and rev the exhaust just to show-off (j/k) on the weekend. Still cannot attract girls with it . Yes I never involve in an illegal drag racing .
I invest lots of my money with this car. Currently my only girlfriend at the moment .

EVO 5 > EVO 7?
Also can you drift atlatean?
Han Solo
did you convert the drivetrain too? or still fwd?
and why did you get that bonnet when you got a fmic?
If you bought the half-cut you got everything, gearbox etc, so yeh it's the whole system. It's like changing your head which include the nervous system
The bonnet is to remove hot air while the FMIC is to improve volumetric efficiency by increasing intake air charge density through isochoric cooling so that more air going in into combustion engine.

nice, you should take it to the track.
I'm building up an rx7 I bought earlier this year on the cheap. friend's ex drift car with blown engine. I've rebuilt the engine (took me over 2 months ) but the rear coils are stuffed, but haven't had time to put the stock suspension back in. I was going to put a bigger turbo with a front mount but I'll probably put that on hold for a while.
re: the bonnet thing, i thought it would be unusual to have vents unless you had a top mount.
for the experience. the rotary engine is pretty easy to rebuild.
It feels like a gokart can feel every force and adjust for it when driving (which may or may not be a good thing).
but yeah the petrol is killing me for the few times I drive it. The handling is great though even though my rear coils are starting to wear. also, the emissions can't be good because it burns engine oil and you need to warm up the engine before you can drive it normally.
if i wanted just power performance i wouldn've gotten a skyline but every man and his dog has one of those, or a silvia or a wrx.

Another question. The other day, I was going at about 50 MPH. I suddenly needed to switch lanes, so I turned the steering wheel rather suddenly, which put the car in danger of rolling over. But I see in movies where cars switch lanes left & right at high speeds. So my question is, what do you need in order to do that?
