Stand afar and watch this world, all the wars wielded and humanity faded.

Nothing seem so different from one and another for they're one, the selfish ones.

Command and Conquer. Prejudice and Pride. Greed and Fight. These all sum up to one word - Comparism, the most unintelligent thing to do.

The stunts and acts of these human beings, appears like a circus of acrobatic fleas.

Why can't people get over it and open to a wider view of vision, like how one belched and fart out problems after a meal of contentment?
What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?

This belong to random style of poem. Perhaps, something along the Oscar Wilde-attitude style

These, are not of my own but I find them so beautiful...... lyrics from Grown-up Christmas list

    Do you remember me?
    I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies

    Well, I'm all grown-up now
    Can you still help somehow?
I'm not a child, but my start still can dream

    So here's my lifelong wish
    My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself, but for a world in need

    No more lives torn apart
    That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend

    That right would always win
    And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list

What is this illusion called the innocence of youth?
Maybe only in that blind belief can we ever find the truth

This is my grown-up Christmas list
This is my only lifelong wish
This is my grown-up Christmas list

    Default IF animals could speak....

The agony of a guard dog (being Chained)

I wish that I was told what I have done wrong.
Why must I be chained up and left alone so very long?

They seemed so glad to have me when I was growing up.
There were so many things together we do when I was just a pup.

The master said he would train me as a companion and a friend.
The missus said to me she would never fear to be alone again.
The children said they would feed me and they did if I would only stay.

But now the master says "No Time."
    The mistress says I shed.
She doesn't want me in the house not even to be fed.
The children said they'd walk me, now they say "Not Now."
I wish I could tell them how I really felt.

    Caring Cats

Appearing to be, just little brats,
    Nevertheless, they are caring cats.
Qualified to leap, to unreachable heights
Always more frisky, particularly at night.

Able to run sideways, even on walls
Keeping in balance, never to fall.
Accused of being finicky, when I call it class
An affectionate nature, there caring cats.

When talking to a cat, to make you aware
They shift their ears, to tell you they hear.
The light that shines, from their eyes at night
Alone in the dark, a mysterious sight.

Captivating your love, with a relaxing purr
    Displaying affection, attentive to words.
Their spirited nature, being mischievous cats
    Compassionate felines, their caring cats.

    What is a Pet??

A pet is such a special friend,
    A friend in many ways.
    Sharing love and companionship,
    Just looking for your praise.

The clever things they often do
    Bring a smile to your face;
And so to them I dedicate,
    This small but special place...

P/s: If it was based on an impulse that you wanted to keep a pet - DON'T!

    And Happy Chinese New Year
    May luck be with you!

    Oh, Ced looks like Ted
With nice fur and a murmur

Well, you can just ignore the 2nd haiku. I don't really know what's got into me.

I wrote this poem about the book that I quoted from in my signature. It's basically about a character who has self-induced amnesia.

    Memories
Though this letter you may never find
Though my memories have become entwined
There’s something that I have to say
To keep my gloomy thoughts at bay
To the one I may never remember
As my thoughts are but a dying ember
Was it you who caused me so much pain
Is it you who is driving me insane
The one my friends don’t want to mention
The name that causes so much tension
    Everyday my heart is aching
My mind is numb, my world is quaking
Why do I always feel like crying
Why do I feel like I am dying
    Some memories come flooding in
Of your amber eyes and silly grin
All the times I spent with you
All the things that we’ve been through
    Why did you leave me
    Why can’t you see
That I loved you just as you loved me

    The End of the World
The world is spinning round and round
As all my dreams come swirling down
I run in fear as the world is turning
Deep in my heart a quiet yearning
To all that I have never done
It’s seems that life had just begun
In horror I watch the sun explode
And the lava flowing down the road
I wonder why this must be
As I fall to the ground I still can’t see
Why in the end I still can’t cry
As smiling on the ground I lie
This must be the end of the world
As all of our lies become unfurled
I lay there quiet and alone
As still and silent as a stone
And though I still don’t feel any fear
It seems that the end is very near
I awake to find this all a dream
And silently at the ceiling I beam
    Maybe there is still hope
And no reason can I find to mope
Just be happy to be alive
And our dreams will surely then survive
"I'd call you a genius... but I'm in the room."

For some reason I have trouble writing happy poems though I am almost never unhappy.
    Beauty
    Beauty locked inside a cage
Grows dimmer as each star that fades
Her sallow cheeks and graying hair
Her flaking skin once smooth and fair
As despair engulfs each ray of sun
Screaming out of here they run
Not bothering to stop and gaze
Into her eyes, they’d stare in a daze
At the love and sorry, joy and pain
These mortal thoughts driving her insane
A goddess in a living hell
Confined here in this dirty cell
Her beauty proved too much for us
As we locked her here and without a fuss
She’s stayed here for 100 years
Her mind a tangled mess of fears
    And still she does understand
As she cries and wrings her slender hands
What awful crime did she commit
This goddess with a childlike wit
Still believes that she is at wrong
That no mortal could hate her for this long
Though we think ourselves just and kind
Look deep into our hearts and you’ll find
A heart as black and hard as coal
An empty shell with a spiteful soul
"I'd call you a genius... but I'm in the room."

    Life Burner, my friend
    Did you celebrate New Year?
    Best wishes to you

    Poem:

Your supportive words lift me up like a melody so familiar.
Your lively personality always shine on us like a bright sun.
Your enthusiasism in leadership for us is second to none.
Your dare-to-say attitude projects you to be an admirable someone.
Your peaceloving approach always remind me of the good in oneself.

You, the ray of light, the cheerful one, don't stay away for too long.
I only wish you will come back and drive the grey clouds away.

Its easier to reach deep into you to express sorrow and sadness.

Happiness is ephemeral, floating in the breezes- gone if you do not try to tied it deep into your memory- to be called upon when writing poetry.

    I agree on that.

Writing poems (or writing of any sorts) can be a healthy way to vent frustrations and emotions.

I write or draw my passion, happiness, cheekiness and sadness.

Default Ceddie's special - Für d' cuppa Mocha

    A foreign weather of coldness
    A faraway land from mine
    I wished wholeheartedly
    You've kept yourself warm

Unfathomable personality, of yours and mine
The truth needed between us, we never speak

The one in your mind, possibly wasn't me - I thought
The silent riddles, possibly weren't hints - I discouraged

The turn-away happened before, left a reminding trace in my mind.
The fool if I was, please tell me if my discouragement was wrong?

Ask, and you'll be shown my honesty.
Indeed, Honesty is the best policy.

Bear in mind, you're my attention hence my presence.
Whatever be it, there'll be no discount to my concerns.
Never forget that, that all thou done was no child's play.
In all seriousness, thou won't turn away without knowin' thy be alright!

Thank you, . Credits to Snoopy & Woodstock strip comics, or the whole of Peanuts. It's not about a stupid dog and a stupid bird, there're lots of philosophy within.

It's shame though, I can't align the last line with the rest of the other 3 lines. that's part of a challenge of poets.

    Not accepting life
As the boring way it is
    Fight, I will, til end

    Sometimes when we touch
    I can sense your honesty
    Your feelings for me

    How nice a surprise
to know that you can read me
    beyond words that speaks

    Just as sensitive
    I can read your intention
    Without any words

    Default Biography of a puppy

In a roomful of other puppies
You set your eyes on me
    I play around unknowingly
Until you made me took notice

    Giving me an obvious hint,
you teasingly tap on my head
    Did my playfulness attracted you?
Something I really want to know

"But, I am not as sturdy as him"
I compared myself with the biggie
A pup who gives sense of security
    An all-rounded, bigger puppy

    No, I shouldn't compare
I can bring out your lighter side
    I appreciate you, every temper
    Isn't that what is important?

Let me know if you're serious
    Because we, puppies in pound
are in great need of a Belonging
A place of warmth called Home.

    I need to know this:
    Is that cute little puppy
    came from Nintendogs?

    Very cute it is,
    Furry and verry adorable,
    Just like cute hamsty!

    How are you doing?
Hope life has been kind to you
    My dear friend, take care.

    Poems:

"Tragedy and Comedy has never been too far apart."
So true for me ços unkindness, has too, play its part.
Why am I in such dilemma? In life, choosing my path.
Can I not obey and choose my very own destiny?
I promise to take the blame should there be mutiny.

I need to break free, and find a fresh breathe of air.
This dead environment is so making me want to flare.
Like a town so gloom, I feel like my tomorrow is doom.
Losing the enthuasism, drained out of all my creativity,
I feel nothing else but a convict being held in captivity
My brain stopped working as it refuses to co-operate
Losing hopes for a brighter future looking at this rate.

Should I laugh because I have a stable (but dead) job?
Or, should I cry because I'm rather getting old for job-hop?
Laugh, at the people I daily meet, at their hamster-wheel wish.
Cry, for the people left behind by their family, left in a light of dim.

    Secret JFK files

I've always found these words beautiful, words from the lyrics of Grown-up Christmas list.

    "Do you remember me?
    I sat upon your knees
I wrote to you a childhood fantasy

    Well, I'm a grown-up now
    Can you still help somehow?
I'm not a child but my heart still can dream

    So here's my lifelong wish
    My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself but for a world in need."

    Poem:

    Walking on a lonely path,
I see only my shadow cast
    Nothing to me seems right
I look high up the night sky
Looking for a star to flyby

    Hoping to make this wish
    Wish for I finally standout
    Standout to be somebody
    Somebody my folks please
    Please grant this wish, God
    God, wherever you are
Are you there as you promised?
    Promise me to take away
    Away goes the depressive me
    Me, standout as that somebody
    Somebody I yearned to be
Be a well-respected, fulltime Animation Artiste!

Default A Tribute to my Father

There doesn't seem to be a place for this so I'll put it here. I can't find the original so I have to remember the best I can.

When I was young my father was one of the stupidest people I knew.
He didn't seem to understand me, and on the rare occasions he did talk to me, he didn't make alot of sense. I wondered why such a stupid man even bothered having kids.

As I grew older, he seemed to get smarter. I don't know where he got this new-found knowledge, but some of the things he said actually made sense to me.

As life went on, I really started to notice his increased intellect and wisdom. We would actually have intelligent conversations. What was happening? He didn't read much and wasn't taking any classes that I knew of.

And so the years passsed, and when he died last summer, he was the smartest and wisest man I knew. It was only then that I realized it wasn't he who had changed, it was me. I never got to tell him this story and maybe it doesn't matter because I'm sure he knew. In the end, I hope he knew I knew too. Thanks Dad.
