Default How many strokes could Ho Juk Dao last against an ROCH Great?

Ho Juk Dao put on quite an impressive martial arts display at the Shaolin Temple during the beginning of HSDS. Even Gwok Seung, who had seen all of the living Greats in action, was quite impressed.

Ho Juk Dao, good as his martial arts were, was not the equal of a Great. That said, how many strokes do you think Ho Juk Dao would last against any one ROCH Great? How about against Little Dragon Girl? Against Wong Yung? Against Yeh Lut Chai?

If Greats were fighting for real, ie not like them VS LOCH GJ... Then about 50-100 strokes. I dun think He Zudao is much better than End of LOCH GJ.

If fighting for real, maybe 10 stances.

If a direct palm-to-palm, he might be a goner after the first stance.

Never thought he was that great, I doubt he would go into double digit if a great really want to finish him off.

He wasn't too shabby. Gok Yeun aside, the monks at Shaolin didn't think that any one of them could take him, and though it wasn't a particularly glorious period for Shaolin in the immediate post-ROCH era, they had some formidable fighters (such as the Mo-generation monks).

How big the gap between Ho Juk Dao and the Greats was, however, is unclear.

It's good to remember that He Zudao's internal energy is roughly equal to 15 (or so) year old Zhang Sanfeng. After 100 years of more cultivation, during which he must have gained least 5 to 6 times more internal energy, Zhang is considered at ROCH Greats level. This means He Zudao probably had just about 20% of a ROCH Great's internal energy.

At the end of ROCH, it was said that Xiaoxiang Zi and Yin Kexi each could not withstand one palm from Yang Guo. In DGSD, Xiao Feng defeated a Xuan-generation monk in just one stance, and Jiumozhi defeated & injured a Xuan-generation monk in 3 stances (he probably only needed one), and they're not quite 5 times better than a Xuan monk yet. It's likely that in a straight energy clash, He Zudao would to a Great lose after just one stance. But in a real combat, it would take more time, but not more than roughly 10 stances.

I think as impressive as HZD is, it might actually be a 1 hit KO. Or the fight should be finished within 10 stances

There were few 2nd tier fighters in any of the trilogy that can handle end ROCH Greats for more than 10 stances.

A great example are the XM elders. Basically some of the strongest fighters in HSDS. Yet compared to Z3F... They are literally toy punching bags.

GWM could barely handle a few stances from HIS YG. I think HZD isn't comparable...therefore, I think compared to end ROCH Greats, there gap is just to big

Yeahhhh perhaps you're right it's around 10 strokes to defeat He Zhudao in actual fight and 2-3 strikes in direct palm clash..
