    Default Huashan

    First - take the tram up to the start of the trail.

    Now follow the path.

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/9347/1208492211000fu2.jpg')

    Be sure to hold onto the chain...

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/8408/1208492240922mw5.jpg')

    Keep an eye on the person in front of you.

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/7550/1208492266397ww9.jpg')

    Be very careful when passing someone going in the opposite direction.

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1259/1208492306872dl4.jpg')

    Now just up a few steps.

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/7007/1208492339175nx4.jpg')

    Gets a little steeper here - so put your toes in the holes

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/3348/1208492369613rz8.jpg')

    A few more steps to go

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/2126/1208492402385pn1.jpg')

    Finally in sight

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/6586/1208492469083qg7.jpg')

    忽见柳荫下两个小孩子在哀哀痛哭,瞧模样正是武敦儒、武修文兄弟。郭芙大声叫道:「喂,你们在干甚麽?」武 修文回头见是郭芙,哭道:「我们在哭,你不见麽?」

    "The path up the south peak is rumored to be the most dangerous hiking trail on earth, because it partly consists of thin wooden planks mounted on a cliff with chains to hold on."

    I heard if you managed to get up there will be a free meal.

    Looks freaking unsafe, no safety cables, thin wooden planks etc.

    HAH! That is too risky for me. I'd never make it through the thin board planks and chains. I'd be pretty happy looking at those mountains as I stand below and look up. I'm too much of acrophobic to take that type of scenic route.

    LMAO PJ, you're funny.

    Indeed, this is something totally challenging to do. I might be someone who takes roller-coaster rides or bungee jump lightly....but not for this.

    This is like, going up some mountains to seek for one highly-skilled warrior (like those in Wuxia novels) for some invincible skills to impart.

    I wonder what'd happen if someone of elephant weight walks along those planks. Bye-bye? Nice scenary though!
    What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

    I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?

    Furthermore, I think if I really want to see these mountains, I would hire a professionally trained pilot and helicopter to circle around the mountains. But no way am I going to do this on feet.

    i'm thinking maybe it's more of the thrill & accomplishment of climbing rather than enjoying the scenes?

    It sure looks difficult not to mention dangerous, even for an athletic person like me . But look at the people in those pictures, they look like normal tourists to me.

    I'll only go once I acquire LHC's qing gong skills .

    To be honest, some of these pictures were taken from a high angle to make it seem more dangerous and and these hikers in the pictures look just like regular people.

    Honestly I would climb it, but how would you get back down? I wouldn't want to climb back down after climbing up.
