Default ZWJ+Z3F VS 3 Du Monks.

Lets say if ZWJ did get his wish and Z3F went to Shaolin and aided ZWJ. No doubt that they will win. However how many stances would the Du Monks last for?

ZWJ's concerns about Z3F's age and the slow/soft nature of Z3F's MA should also be considered.

Depends if they decide to to go all-out and crush the Du Monks really. That's not in character for either ZWJ or Z3F so it could take longer than it really ought to.

If both went full power right from the start to win (but not necessarily to injure/kill) and ZWJ gets to discuss it with Z3F first, then assuming ZWJ had already had a taste of the formation, I doubt it would go over 50 stances.

If they didn't have to avoid injuring the Du Monks...

I have no doubt that ZSF could come up with a counter formation.

But not before seeing the formation himself. Coming up with a counter-formation while fighting and then teaching that to ZWJ would take some time (certainly not within 50 stances).

Was there a particular battle in which Z3F took his sweet time like ZWJ? The only two encounters I can remember Z3F being in (Xuan Ming elder and that fake monk), he was pretty decisive.
    Reverend Rongku prepared himself.

Suddenly, he toss his hands and screamed: "I am not human! I am an animal!"

The crowd startled at such a bizarre beginning to the story.

Ever since he became Z3F he pretty much kicked *** and took names; he was completely undefeated.

Only reason why I said 50 stances is because if ZWJ told him that the formation was formidable, he was take some stances to observe it first.

ZWJ fights alone first. Z3F just watches. 2 hours later. Z3F joins the fight and teach ZWJ how to beat the formation. 50 stances later, the formation is broken, the monks uninjured and admit defeat.

They don't even need to break the formation. ZWJ could hold 2 monks for 10 stances (and that's being generous) so that ZSF could finish off the other monk (this was ZWJ's plan when he had Yang Xiao and Yin Tianzheng) then they could take on one monk each.
