i love all those actresses mentioned!! they are so beautiful and reminds me why i would rather buy older movies.

Her performance as Zhao Min in the HSDS movie costarring Jet Li as Zhang Wu Ji: goodness, isn't she perfect for the role!

i agreed! she definitely make a great zhao min. she's stubborn, witty and cunning without being childish.

Another favorite actress of mine is Chingmy Yau. Talk about utilizing her sex appeal . She was adorable as Xiao Zhao in the Jet Li version. If only they had made part 2. What ever happened? They just stopped the story all of a sudden.

chingmy is my very favorite!! i've gone on a few times about her but she's absolutely adorable and yes, sexy! i love her xiao zhao although she had a bit more spunk than the 03 version which made her unique.

i, too, would pay to see part two and i love the chemistry between jet li and chingmy yau (even more so than jet with sharla). think "the new legend of shaolin" and "high risk". i read somewhere that all of part 2 was filmed except the last scene. i keep asking myself "why why why!" even if it's bad, it would have been a guilty pleasure.

Anyone remember her? When Expression mentioned the movie Crazy Flying Daggers, I thought of her. Gloria Yip Wan Yee - She's so cute! And her cute cute Ashura in The Peacock King.

i thought gloria yip was cute cute! i saw a musc video of her once and she was just gorgeous. there were some pictures of her from a few years ago that i stumbled across and she was still very pretty, just more mature.

Our next featured beauty is Ms. Joey Wong, deemed the Ancient Goddess. It is NOT difficult to see why. Since her soar to fame with her role as Xiao Qian in A Chinese Ghost Story, she has taken on many similar, albeit beautiful ancient roles in the 90s. Her roles were not as diverse as Sharla's, but definitely classic and unforgetable.

ahh...joey! what can i say? she's beautiful too! i just don't get tired of watching her in ACGS. the ending always saddened me because he never get a glimpse of her before she disappeared.

I thought the cast members for Kung Fu Cult Master (such a weird title - they should have just renamed it HSDS) were very well chosen. C'mon, where else will the audience get to see Sammo Hung as the legendary Zhang Sanfeng . He was uber funny. Gigi was quite lovely as the manipulative Zhou Zhiruo. Showed her in a totally different light and it was very refreshing. They should have totally released part 2! With all the crappy productions that were released/still being released, I'd get part 2 just for old time's sakes .

Yup, New Legend of Shaolin was another good movie. Jet and Chingmy sure had the chemistry down. Chingmy could easily transform from an innocent girl next door to the witty, cheerful thief to a sultry siren. Her body is definitely hot! The pairing of her with Andy Lau were great too. She was the perfect wife for him in Lee Rock and Casino Tycoon.

expression - Thanks for posting all the pics. ACGS holds a special place in my heart because of Joey and Leslie. It was an untouchable classic and no other actresses taking up the role of Xiao Qian could even compare to Joey's grace and beauty.

I have yet to hear a single person who didn't want to see part 2 of HSDS!! What a SHAME! What did they mean the box office was not good?! Does that mean there was a generation gap in taste?!

you're right. it is hilarious and so many famous faces make it even more enjoyable. i love the soundtrack when leslie, jacky, and tony leung KF started fighting. it was great!

i like the pairing in here. a bit of joey and leslie (a chinese ghost story), then leslie and brigitte (the bride with white hair), then brigitte and tony (dragon inn), then joey and jacky (fox legend).

Jessica Alba is a gorgeous woman, no doubt about it. I find her extremely hot. However, when it comes to acting, she really needs to work on it. She can barely generate any emotion on screen. Definitely a long way to go before she can be labeled a competent actress.
