has anyone seen the live action drama? i've seen up to episode 2 and it's very good. i've never read the manga so i did a little searching and the storyline is very interesting.

Summary
Robot maker, Kronos Heaven, finally develops "Night Tenjo", the perfect male humanoid programmed to be devoted and completely loyal to his lover. The company chooses temp worker Izawa Riko to take part in a 5-day free trial. At first, Riko only sees Night as a household appliance. But when she finds out how deep Night's devotion to herself is, Riko finds herself falling in love with him. Joining the love triangle is Asamoto Soshi, a distinguished young executive at her company who has feelings for her.

i saw part of the first episode. my sister is watching it. i only watched a little so the only opinion i have on it, is that the guy who refused the cakes has weird hair.

i just saw the first two episodes yesterday. i've never read the manga, but as a series, i think it's very fun to watch. also, the guys are two of my favorite actors.

The manga is a waste of time. With any luck, the drama will do better with some acting talent or director/producer direction.

yeah i finally found out the ending for the manga and i have to say i'd probably be pissed off if they stick to the same ending. it's really unfair for Asamoto if that was to happen. loving and caring for her after she has given her whole heart to another.

There was an article posted after the finishing of the manga stating continuing. But I can't read Jap. and some fans translated the article so I don't know how accurate it can be.


In the drama, it seems that Night breaks down to easily. He already broke his skin with a frying pan. That's a lot of maintenance.

Well in the manga, Soshi comes back to her after giving her time to get over Tenjou Night. I guess it is considered a happy ending for him. Somewhat, I think it is Soshi's fault for not telling her how he felt until she had someone already.

Didn't Soshi basically let her choose who she loved? And she chose Tenjou. That was why Soshi left. But right as Tenjou was 'dying' he wrote a letter to Soshi and asked him to come back to care for her. And he came back knowing full well he was the rebound guy.

about the frying pan, tenjou did need maintenance work after being hit with a frying pan, that was a twist in the tv series. tenjou could of had been returned to the company at no cost if he didn't need maintenance. i think they threw in the maintenance fee so that she couldn't afford it, but if you watch the tv series, you'll find out that in the end she did make enough to return tenjou, but she didn't. i guess it's a way for tenjou and riko to bond and develop feelings.

has anyone seen episode 3 yet? i love the part where Night hid inside the bus storage thingy and got yelled at for teaching the children the wrong thing. and then he turned around, looked at the screen, and started telling the kids not to do that at home. i just started laughing so hard, especially when he gave that super cute smile after he said it. and everyone else was like "who are you talking to?" it seemed like he was talking to the people who were watching.

I agree with that. His robotics appear to be very sensitive. I can understand the damage when he did that long distance running to get the cake but not the frying pan. @.@

Hmmm I wonder what the correct spelling is for Tenjo (in the drama's title) or Tenjou in the manga. Since I don't read manga that much and don't know Japanese, I have no clue.


Yes, I watched ep.3 It is getting better. But then again, I already know the ending for the manga so I am worried for this ending.

I didn't expect to enjoy this drama, I like it and can't seems to stop watching it! I like the chemistry between Izawa and Soshi in episode 3. Look forward of what will happen next... and makes me want to read the manga again.
