Default Beginning of LOCH: A showdown between Yang Tiexin's idols

In LOCH chapter 1, SOON-TO-BE PLOT DEVICE VICTIM Yang Tiexin thought: "This taoist [Qiu Chuji]'s kung fu really is fantastic. Yet, if he were to compete with the cripple Qu San, I wonder who would win?" This poll, therefore, is a contest between Qiu Chuji and Qu San (Qu Lingfeng), at the beginning of LOCH.

    Who would win?

    Qu San

in ROCH, it seems that Qiu Chuji may lie around the level of Li Mo Chou, as does HYS's youngest disciple Feng (whatever his name was)--who was supposedly the weakest among HYS's disciples.

according to Zhou Botong, QZ disciples tend to start off with a slower progression than those of the other 4 Greats.

If not mistaken, Feng Mo Feng couldn't beat Li Mochou, only gained the upper hand by resorting to stripping her with his hot tools.

It was said that Feng Mofeng has NEVER fought a single person in his life until he met Li Mochou. Additionally, he had not practiced his martial arts for the past 30 years. Not to mention, he was significantly weaker than his martial brothers who appeared in LOCH. And yet, despite these shortcomings, Feng Mofeng's martial arts proved to be equal to Li Mochou (although his fighting ability isn't as sharp).

Anyway, I vote Qu San (Qu Lingfeng).

Qu San crippled or not crippled? Not crippled, he would school Qiu Chuji. Crippled...Qiu Chuji takes it, much like how Duan Zhengming would take Duan Yanqing.

Feng Mofeng was crippled when he took on pre-16 ROCH Li Mochou, whom Yang Guo mentioned was arround the level of pre-16 ROCH Qiu Chuji. Using this, we can arrive at the conclusion that Qu San was far more powerful than early LOCH Qiu Chuji.

There's something important to keep in mind though; Feng Mofeng was only half-crippled, ie, only one of his legs were broken, whereas both of Qu San's legs were broken. This makes a big difference.

That's why I believe that Qu San, uncrippled, would school Qiu Chuji, but crippled, would probably lose.

Hate to point out the obvious, but there's no such thing as a post-16 ROCH Lee Mok Sau. She didn't survive to have a post-16 level.

Good point, I didn't realize that.
