I noticed that threads over ~1.5 years old in Academia and Debate have been permanently removed from SPCNET forums. If possible, please let this forum be. The last time this forum went through a deletion phase, we lost some excellent discussions such as The Ultimate Ranking in the Jin Yong Universe. I would hate to see that kind of loss happen again.

The dates in brackets refer to the dates on which the threads were made.

The Great Server Crash of June 2005 is shown above by the large gap between the last thread in April and the first thread in Jun. Whatever that was posted after 2 Apr 05 and before 19 Jun 05 in the Wuxia Fiction Forum could not be recovered, regardless of whether they were threads or posts.

The line numbers (1202, 1203, 1204, etc) do not show a gap because the archival system just picked up from where the last number stopped.

By the way, Ken, it's Teacher Appreciation Day tomorrow (16 May) in Malaysia. We are getting the day off at my school, as a gesture of appreciation, so that the kids can stay home and terrorise their parents instead. Happy Teachers' Day, Ken!
