Has anyone seen the new Bao Qing Tian? How was it?

I know it's already mentioned in one of the Judge Bao's thread but I thought it deserved its own thread.

I'm a big fan of the Judge Bao's series by Jin Chao Qun. I think I've watched all of them except for the 2006. I'm also looking forward to watching that one. I heard it's good but is too long. I can't wait for this one though!! It's said to be out in Viet Dub over the summer! Yippee!

Would someone please tell me this dude is not Manh Quynh? He looks so much like him!! Except I think Manh Quynh's face is skinnier. And if you don't know who Manh Quynh is he's a Vietnamese singer.

i had heard the actor playing Bao Qing Tian and his scholar second hand man have both died.

but looking at this they're alive for sure, but there so old.

the actor in white clothes is former tvb actor michael tong (tong man lun)
his latest serie currently airing is flaming butterfly (atv serie)

Woah, Michael Tong and Benny Chan in this series? Somehow Benny looks so mechanical in that picture. Haha. Michael looks like he just has hair extentions on.

Go and look up 'Justice Bao' in wikipedia. Made famous by the Taiwan 1995 adaption. Believe me, it was more than just a 'little' popular.

Justice Bao is a real figure from Northern Song dynasty, immortalized in opera plays.

I cant find anything either...considering the stars in the show one would think it would have more popularity? Maybe because there are so many versions of Justice Bao it has been dismissed as an old one?

To anyone that is Vietnamese and wants to watch this series. You can go to http://vietnamlive.tv/ and search for Bao Thanh Thien. It is one person dub though. The official dub in US is still not out yet. As for the Chinese version...I haven't seen it around either.

I've been wondering where this series is myself. I've searched everywhere and it just doesn't seem to exist. Except for that vietnamese dub of it... :/ Anyone?

wonder when it going to come out in DVD or VCD? Love all the previous series of Justice Bao. Lots of familiar faces, which is good. But by looking at some of the preview, I don't like that they have lots of computer graphics for fitting scenes.

I can't wait to see this! When is it out in the US and how can I watch it? On the other hand, it's been ages since I last watched BQT so is there a list of the original episodes somewhere out there?

Well, it must be out, because my local DVD seller has it. The whole series is online at cn6 I believe.

Read somewhere that a couple of story arcs from the old BQT have been repeated using new characters, plus different story arcs have been used too.

You can't have much difficulty of 'thinking up' a new story arc, considering there is so much material (different investigative cases from the classic novel series) to draw from.

what is the official tittle ? i kinda mixed up with the old bao qing tian series, since the old one have kenny ho and eddie kwan as chan chao, and it seems in the picture, both of them play together now
