Dylan Guo looks too sweet to play Lu Bu though. I think Peter is a fine choice to play Lu Bu: height, body built, etc.

Agreed. He's one of my least favorite characters, as he's a self-serving, backstabbing SOB. I don't mind Peter Ho playing him, but the casting seems to be turning this adaptation more and more into an idol drama of sorts.

nice! i was a bit saddened that i would not be seeing sha yi even though i didn't find him qutie suitable for zhao yun. sun ce does seem to fit him more . too bad he dies early.

Yep. Sun Ce was my suggestion for Sha Yi several posts back. At least he's still in the show.

Nie Yuan for Zhao Yun? Hottie he is, but will he be given makeup or CGed in the serial. Zhao Yun is not as young people would like to believe.

Thanks but these aren't Diao Chan. There from another series of her's, The Great Dunhuang. Yep, she looks like a Diao Chan there though.

But the age is wrong. Both Peter and Dylan are too young for Lu Bu, who's at least in his mid- or early-thirties when he was under Dong Zhuo.

Victor Huang is in talks to join the cast and possibly play Zhou Yu. Everything will be confirmed at the press conference on September 28th. Filming is scheduled to start on the 29th.
