    The only difference between Norcal and Socal is about 50 bucks (each way).

    with gas these days, it's at least 100 round trip
    though i wouldn't mind going down south.

    I have family in the Bay Area. A bay area meet up is definitely doable. In fact, I'll be in the area for the weekend of July 19th, to take a certain exam.

    why is it no good? where are u exactly? Florida is part of the "East Coast"..and they have West Coast-like weather

    I always thought that Florida was more humid than over here...hence all the hurricanes. We only have our beloved earthquakes.
