Jamie Chik is Michael Miu's wife. Use to be a popular TVB actress and very beautiful. I've only seen recent pictures of her, but not onscreen. She looks fine to in the pictures eventhough gossip mags always make her out to be fat and unattractive nowadays.

I'm okay with Toby as long as she does not hold any major roles....

But I would be happier if they add other young actresses in TVB like Tavia, Fala, Linda, or Selina, etc....LOL...no matter what, these actresses are still more expressive in term of acting.

toby just seems so fake in general even when she is acting naturally. when she shows happiness, she just forces a mere "smile" which is/seems SO fake. when she cries, she just screams basically

Come on Lunar, don't need to have such big reaction. If you really don't like a certain actor or actress, simply skip the series. But if you want to watch the series for other cast member, fast forward button is always an option.

p.s. Give her some chance lah. Though I admit I prefer it if she take smaller roles.

Maybe that's why u judge her more harshly than the others. The bias is already there. Honestly, Toby is not that bad in 'Men in Pain' and she improved in 'Marriage of Inconvenience'.

Kinda disappointed to have Toby in this series. Her acting is just terrible...especially with her crying scenes..like in Drive of Life u.u. Hopefully she has a really small role. lol. Wouldve preferred that for such a grand series...theyd add better actresses as part of the supporting cast...like fala, sharon..etc. At first, i was like, why toby? after finding out who the producer is...its no wonder u.u! oh well. Kinda disappointed that it wont exactly be a gallen and kenix reunion sigh.

Agree. Toby was never a good actress. I really don't understand what TVB likes about her. She's not even pretty, IMO. Unfortunately, she still made it the nomination list of Most Improved Actress. I don't think so.

I totally agree with you...there are plenty of other actresses (that still have small roles) that are a lot prettier (dont mean to be shallow here lol) and whose acting is much better than hers. I think theyd be better for a grand production. sigh. oh well u.u.

for me, toby is oke...her acting is need improve but although she is not bad. This time, she will collaborate with many veteran actors, she has a chance to learn more experience...so let her a chance....

I just genuinely don't like Toby! Her acting is improving but I don't see much potential in her! She also drags out her words like Anne used to do when she first started and it annoys me heaps! But Anne improved, so maybe Toby will too in time.

I am ok with her in this series, just as long as she doesn't get paired with or have any romantic association with Gallen!

Maybe Toby just needs a memorable role to let her learn. So far, her roles have either been spoiled brats or rash emotional girls. Maybe TVB should give her a sympathetic role or something.
