Vietnamese Songs

Mua Bui 1 - Old Vietnamese, the kind my mother sings on karaoke.

To me it sounds like a modern spin (with some electrical guitar?) on what I call the "farmer" style music (slow traditional Vietnamese music like this; evokes the countryside for me).

My Vietnamese friend, who is a 20 something male, listens to this kind of "farmer" music. I must say I became much more receptive of it after visiting Vietnam!

I heard this Vietnamese song only once & I don't know the name of it.

It was a bunch of girls singing & there was a part where thy kept singing "la la la la la la, la la la la la la, etc..."

That's all I remember. Anyone know the name of it?

I think it starts with a C. Not sure though.

I'm an oldie.....I like older songs. All the "mi an lien" songs nowadays are getting on my nerves. Tunes are generic, and the lyrics are even worse. You know that when Trish starts making songs that there's a serious problem.

Is that what I think it says? Instant noodle, right? I too, like older songs. About Trish, I heard she's horrible singing live.

3. Chuyen Tinh Hoa Sim - is Nhu Quynh the only one that sung this?

I think most songs from Bua Bui were also good.

Yup, it's instand noodle songs, hehe.

But yeah, no one probably sings those songs since I think they're the only ones who can do the songs justice.

I need some good songs to sing at a wedding. It just sucks that the majority of Vietnamese songs are sad songs.
