awwww...that's way too far, sweetie. I don’t want to inconvenient everyone with the long distance. Maybe, we can compromise somewhere in between? Wherever that may be…

Actually, I wouldn't mind revisiting SF again. Although I had such a lousy time there on my previous trip, I'm willing to give it another chance.

How bout' it, Precious? SF is one of your favorite places...

Not Big Sur, that's for sure. At least not at the moment.

Bella, we should go karaoke-ing. We'd be the only ones screaming out Viet songs.

OT, but this is very important: Oh em gee Bella. Your avatar is scaring me.

Refer to my post regarding keeping this nicknames nonsense to people who have opted in to it. As far as 'moderating' goes, I have no interest in that. But I also have no interest in being forced to sift through two dozen pages of steaming, useless crap in a thread which I need to check on often, like what happened with the last thread. It might be all fun, shit'n'giggles for the participants, but it seriously is annoying as f_ck for the rest of us . Y'all don't really want me to start seriously going off on you guys, do you?

Bella, come on up as well, if you have the time! I'm in west LA, so I'm not that much closer than you are

Mweh. Party pooper. We've really tried to contain it this time, so relax babe.

I suggest that we have Ken update the first post for us with some basic information about this gathering in particular, so it's easier for others to join us.

Now that I think about it............I wonder if it's possible to add karaoke to our agenda so far. Anyone else up for it?

    You got me there.

If we're gonna think about karaoke.....I suggest somewhere in Milpitas or one of the Korean noraebangs on El Camino. San Jose doesnt really have any karaoke lounges.....at least I don't think so. I know some Vietnamese coffee shops do have karaoke, but I think I'll let the guys figure that out for themselves.

wow...milpitas and el camino were what i had in mind when you said kareoke, too...

for the record though, the milpitas ones are better (for chinese). i don't know about vietnamese though.

The Korean noraebangs have a pretty large variety though. It's ok.....don't worry about me. I'm probably the only Vietnamese-speaking member going to be there, lol. Singing in Chinese is no problem.....though I am mostly Chinese illiterate, so if I do sing, I'll be singing only the words I know. No worries since you guys are gonna fill the gap.

Bella, are you trying to popularize the new fad of CBA: Clone By Avatar?

That is one ugly as hell avatar. I thought it bad enough that I have to see it once, and now... *gasp*

Didn't you hear? Mama Mia made the incorrect assumption that SF weather was LA-like

The 19th is just right around the corner. Unfortunately, I will be in the middle of nowhere - Missouri that week. I hope everyone will have a good time, though.

I really like Santa Monica. I always like to visit Santa Monica Boulevard whenever I'm in LA.

If Ren Wo Xing keeps hogging the mic, I will do my sexy Korean hip hop dance behind him while he sings.

"Get off the stage, man. I want to sing the new Miley Cyrus song."
