Is it me or has anyone else noticed many ROCH haters are LOCH fanatics?

On topic, I dislike these characters:
Gongsun Zhi - dirty old man
YZP - ****** rapist
ZWJ - wimpy and indecisive, i dont understand how the ladies can fall for him
Mie Jue - crazy old hag
YK - annoying till the very end

Considering that ROCH plays like some perverse, evil mirror universe version of LOCH...that's only logical.

People who like Guo Jing and hates Yang Guo are usually uptight people with high social status and tends to follow every law out there whereas people who likes Yang Guo are usually rebellious in nature, loves to have drink and have fun. ROCH is the MOST popular Jin Yong novel, and Yang Guo is Jin Yong's favorite.

Judging from references in popular media, I would assume it's definitely either LOCH or ROCH, but I'm leaning more towards ROCH too.

Except for the Taiwan Richie Ren version. Yang Pei Pei made ROCH first. She did plan to make LOCH later, but, Jin Yong ban her from adapting his novels liao.

Yep not really a proof but it can be a basis if we are going to do an analysis. The romantic theme of ROCH probably makes it more viable for adaptation than any other novel imo.

Well, I don't think I'm a LOCH fanatic exactly... I'm more into DGSD.

I'm basing on the series that I've seen...

- Guo Jing's first master because he was blind inside and out.
- The two guys that followed and sucked up to Guo Fu (seriously, can they be anymore useless and annoying?)
- ZWJ from HSDS 2003 (is ZWJ supposed to be that annoying and naive? I don't really follow HSDS)

A lot of people dislike GF for her stubborn and spoil traits, but i didn't find her annoying at all. i was mostly bothered by the two guys even though they weren't main characters, still i was very annoyed.

Yeah, a alot of people hate the couple YG & XLN, ppl but they are my favorite!

The two Wu bros are lucky to end up with Wiyang Ping and Yelu Yan (i hope i got their names rite) rather then with Guo Fu. I dont really know what Yelu Qui sees in GF.
