    Yeh, I already anticipated it last week. But hey, it just overtake Star Wars and now behind Titanic for the unadjusted box-office take. Currently confirm the biggest box-office on earth this year. I heard still waiting for opening in pegasus galaxy and other local planets in the milky way.

    Knight displayed another great hold in its fifth weekend dipping only 36% for its lowest decline yet. Overseas, the Caped Crusader hauled in an estimated $42.4M lifting the international total to a stunning $328.6M and the global gross to an eye-popping $800.1M. That allowed The Dark Knight to surpass the $780M of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to become 2008's highest grossing movie worldwide. The domestic cume now looks to reach about $525M while the global gross may break the $1 billion mark.

    Btw, is anyone bothered by the China and Chinese products references early in the movie? It made me feel kind of uncomfortable.

    Not really. It's just one of those movie stereotypes, like the Italian mafia (which was featured in both Batman movies).

    anyone else noticed how the joker's makeup resembles that of beetlejuice? seriously, look them up. maybe michael keaton can play the joker for the next installment (rip ledger...you did a fantastic job), which will be very ironic considering he also played batman. of course, that is if they plan to make a part iii and have joker in it.
