Get ready for an official GJ and YG debate.

3 posters representing the GJ side, and 3 representing YG side.

Single judge: me me and me.

Format- single post, 3 days limit.

Points given for your debating/persuasion skill, literacy, accuracy with quoted passages.

Yeah I think this is the best way to determine it, but I think to increase the "accuracy" of the debate, we should increase the length to 21 days and nights, then we only flip the coin at the end.

No offense to anyone who feels otherwise, but I just don't see what the big deal is for the difference between GJ and YG kungfu-wise. Is it gonna change the way you feel about the character if he can or cannot beat the other one?

any evidence has already been poured out MANY times. this is really more about debate skills than evidence. plus, if anything, make sure you have a knowledgeable partner

The point of discussion is to convince and be convinced. The "be convinced" part is completely forgotten here. If one discusses without the intention of being convinced, there's no point to it all.

I imagine it really is just to see which side has the final argument. It's not likely to sway the opinions of many members, or is it likely to make much difference in the overall way the two are ranked against each other in the community at large, but it is an exercise in debate and discussion.

i would imagine the judgement will be mostly based on debate skills such as one side being able to disect the other team's points. (ie. points deducted for not properly addressing issues or ignoring other team's valid points or going off on tangets, etc.)
