the main girl is working to put herself through college. her mom gets her a job tutoring one of her friend's son who happens to be the main guy, but a few years behind. the main guy just started at this new school and the gang that rules the school is picking on him because, he won't follow rules. but the main guy doesn't really care about being the leader of anything, he doesn't care for anything basically.

if gong yoo is the person who plays as the gang leader, then no, he's not a big role. but you should still watch the movie, it's very funny.
