Default Hong Lung 18 Palms - readaptable as a *kicking* martial art?

Imagine that through some terrible mishap, Kiu Fung, North Beggar Hung 7 Gung, or Gwok Jing loses both of his arms. If that's the case, could any of the three of them readapt the Hong Lung 18 Palms for use as a *kicking* martial art through the legs?

I don't know about those guys, but I have been using Hong Lung 18 Kicks for a long time now.

The "Dragon Subduing 18 Kicks" actually do exist, in "Wind and Cloud". It makes a cameo appearance.

impossible, fighting is not just about swinging your arms around, your feet have to move too in different stances.

That was actually what happened to Xiao Feng in DGSD's comic version... His arms weren't available as he was chained so he re-adapted the 18 Palms to kicks. Works very well and he KOed all his attackers.

well, OYF use the altered 9yin to use toad stance with his feet while standing on his head, so it is possible to do the same for HL18Z.

not if he had both his arms cut off, like the thread starter said.

Or they taught the move to a girl but adopted it into kicks b'cos girls have weak upper body str, but have a lower center of gravity and thus are better at kicking then punching.
