Default Names restaurant owners should avoid taking for their establishments

Certain names for ethnic restaurants, rendered in English, have an unfortunate (but often humorous) unintended effect. For example, I've seen Vietnamese restaurants with the following names:

Pho King (pronounce that aloud, with the proper Vietnamese pronunciation of "pho")

    My Dung

The people who named these restaurants had perfectly benign intentions when bestowing these names on the establishments. Nevertheless, the names do pave the way for juvenile humor among the English-literate sector.

I wonder how non-Vietnamese people pronounce the Socal "Phuoc Loc Tho" mall.

I know of a restaurant near me called "Wok This Way". A friend I know works there.

There's a chinese take-out here called Hung Fatt. I give a little snicker everytime I drive by.

I used to go before it became take-out only. They had about five tables, all different with mismatched chairs and quite good food.

I'm not sure if this place actually exists, or Russell Peters just made it up, but Pho Phuc Lai.

There's a restaurant in Long Beach, CA called Phuket Thai. I learned from the waiter there that it's pronounced "Fu-Kay" Thai, but a lot of my friends often incorrectly pronounce it another way...
