Default Wuxia's greatest "Oooh, that's got to hurt!" moments?

People get seriously wounded in wuxia stories all the time. Which moments, however, had you cringing in sympathetic pain because the description of the wound was so horrific that you flinched and had a "Oooh, that had to hurt!" reaction?

Any scene with impalement is pretty bad for me.

Although it wasn't vividly described, I'm sure the breaking of 3rd Wudang hero limbs would've been very very painful. Then it happened to another one (don't remember which..was it 6th?)

Lin Pingzhi maiming himself and having to act like nothing happened! Imagine having to try to walk normally after that!

Yang Lianting getting his leg bones broken until the bones stuck out of the wound and yet he did not cry out.

The guy from linked cities with the hook thru his collarbones.

when yu cang hai's eyes suddenly went black and his arms suddenly felt a chill.

when gong sun zhi and qiu qian chi fell down the pit.

in original ROCH, when ZBT hugged GWM wearing hedgehog armor, then letting the flaming tower fall on GWM.

when DIng chun qiu got hit in multiple places by sheng si fu.

when Mie Jue fell off the pagoda.

when Zuo leng chan slashed one of his students in half after being blinded by YBQ. thats gotta hurt.

Yang Guo losing his arm, of course. Ah Jiu losing her arm in Bi Xie Jian, too. That one might be even more painful because it's her own father who cuts off her arm.

Gongsun Zhi having an eye put out by a date pit spat at him by his wife.

Qiu Qian Chi having her tendons cut and then being thrown into a subterranean grotto. I keep imagining her crawling around on the ground down there, spending days learning to spit those date pits accurately - yech!

Zhao Min wasn't giving up even when shes fainting due to lack of oxygen. But she gave up on the 9 Yang Poke. I would say that must be something amazing.

When Xiao Feng unleashed the full strength of his Dragon subduing palms on A'Zhu disguised as her father, that did it for me.

Whenever people get slapped and casually lose a couple teeth. Without dentistry, that makes me cringe every time I imagine two thirds of wulin all missing their front teeth (especially the women).

I'm pretty sure I'd rather get non fatally stabbed.

Zhang Wuji breaking Ah San's arms and legs into pieces one limb at a time. It was Wuji's most vicious attack on any person (with good reason).

All the above are great examples of physical pain.

In my opinion Qu Fung killing A Chu was the greatest moment of psychological pain.
At this point the man had lost everyone and everything important to him, his adopted parents, his sifu, his position in the beggar's guild even his identity.

Then to find out he killed the one person that loved him despite all his loss I am surprised he didn't loose his mind.

When Xiao 11 Lang was wounded at the bottom of the cliff with a chest wound that would not heal and it was infected with pus.

When ZWJ took the 9 Yang manual out of the gorilla. (I felt sorry for it when it was in there and he had to walk around with an open wound and probably an infection.

When GJ told his men to chop off all those lamb's legs to make a ladder for him to get up the snowy peak in Mongolia.

All the injuries XF suffered at Jue Xian Manor - both physical and emotional because all of a sudden, his old friends were killing them and he was killing them. And then his fatal palm at Ah Zhu must have been excruciating for her as her organs were probably smashed and then XF burying her by digging with his bare fingers.

When Ding Min Jun gouged out some Ming Sect dude eye with her sword during interrogation.
