    Default The "favorite words" collection

What are your favorite words and/or phrases to use?

They could be intellectual, sophisticated, ELOW, or whatever reason that intrigues you.

For me, I love using these words:

    VERB
    -compartmentalize
    -gravitate

    NOUN/EXPRESSION
    -royal f*ck up

Please contribute to the list with your favorite words.

I was thinking of putting up a thread for favourite quotes, Sensei

    For a verb?

    Excellento!

I use expressions most of the time, I think.

    Exprescion

Cheeky people - Fresco bisco (Fresco supposed to have a meaning of "mischievious" in spanish equivalent. It's an informal verb in spanish.)

    what a screwball!

Bang balls! (totally expressive followed by a hysteric laughter) - another term for major screw-ups.

(Descriptive term) of the highest order. Eg: Dumbtard of the highest order.

    Ttoootally!

    BTW, ELOW? E=English?, L=?, O=?, W=Words.

    Adjectives:
    Good.
    Very good.

    Sentence-starter:
    All right, everybody, ....

    Question:
    Are we done?

    Put them all together:
All right, everybody .... Are we done? Good. Very good.

*wipes the sweat off the forehead* Ok, Bunnie, I'll snap a most decent looking picture of myself and show you......without forgetting to shrink it even smaller.

    Adjective

Gandiloquent - a word with a strong expressive meaning. I would use "Boombastic" for a simple synonyms.

    another...

Inconceivable - I prefer to use this word instead of its other equivalents.

Isn't that supposed to be "grandiloquent"?

But does that word mean what you think it means?

I can't say that I have any favorite or preferred words. I try to have a broad vocabulary.

But my least favorite words are profanity when used excessively. If you say "f***" ever third word, it becomes as meaningless as saying "Umm". If you're going to use a curse word, use it in a meaningful way!

Hey Sniffie, you're right. I missed the "r" after the "g". Grandiloquent should be the word. It's not my favourite word, but I feel it's lovable.

As for the 2nd quoted word.....I would prefer to replace my every expression of "Wtf!" with an exclaimation of "Inconceivable!". Now, do you think I got the meaning right? Do advise.
