When I use the "tick messages and delete them by pressing the GO button" method of removing visitor messages from my profile, the default "soft delete" option pops up.

As a result, the unwanted messages are replaced with a line each that says "the messages have been deleted" by me.

Is there a way to "hard delete" the messages and remove them completely from the user profile (without the "deleted by" note in their place)? The messages that I would like to remove relate to a conversation (series of messages), featuring posts made by me and another forum member.

I tried to edit your deleted message but i got a soft delete as well.

Sorry for nagging, but I would really appreciate some assistance on the issue of visitor message deletion.

In addition, an attempt to edit a message (posted by me) today resulted in the posting of the edited message as a totally new one. This did not happen when I edited my own messages prior to today (5 Sept 2008, Beijing time-zone).

Yeah, I think the owner of the profile usually see those deletion. SC usually visits during weekends or when she's free.

Can we get like a pop-up notification or something that indicates we have vistior messages? I know you can check the UserCP, but what about like somewhere on top (like we have Private Message: Unread #, Total #)?

Yes, a username with a plus + sign at the end means they are your friend.

That is a good question, but I think it's just appearing in random order. Try refreshing your profile and see if it changes the order again.
