That's actually a really often observed behaviour. The bronze winner is very happy, whereas the silver winner is not. It has actually been studied in psychology, and it's sort of because of downward comparison. The bronze winner is happy because he won a medal, but since he was still two away from getting gold, there's nothing much he could and he's happy. The silver winner feels that they were just so close to gold and barely missed it. As a result, they aren't as happy.

Oh wells, I thought the U.S. Men's team was gonna win the silver but the mishaps on the pummel horse cost them. That was their weakest rotation and 2/3 of the guys were alternate because the Hamm brothers pulled out cuz of injury. A lot of critics didn't believe in them, but they proved them wrong and that's why they were ecstatic.

Lol I have to admit that the Japanese team was cuter than the Chinese one, although obviously I was rooting 20000% for the Chinese team and they WON! YEA!!

Well, the Chinese team some cute ones, like little Zou Kai and Li Xiao Peng, he's a total cutie.

There was also a cute blonde guy on the American team.

How come all the female gymnasts are SOOOOO small and the male gymnasts so buff? Lol...

Hmm, because the male segments are more inclined towards strength while female segments more to agility?

    Kohei is amazingly cute.

We should be seeing more of the guys in the individual comps later. I'm making dinner early tomorrow so I can sit down and watch the girls properly later.

um...wasn't U.S. just like that a few olympic events ago?

I don't know. To be honest, this is the first time I'm really watching the Olympics. I don't even know what happened in the previous Olympics, save for some scattered events.

Aside from curiosity, overconfidence can also kill the cat.

But yes, let's all support and cheer for China! ^O^

I don't think they could've anyways...I think they had to be like perfect to take second...but since Australia then took second after, they wouldn't of won Bronze anyways.
