Still no news on Adam Jamal Craig. But there is a new cast member. It's Linda Hunt. She is not really appreciated and people don't really like her. I really don't want to see her in this series. I think she will make this series less interesting for people to watch.

EDIT: Many people are now saying that this is a different Linda Hunt. The Linda Hunt playing the role is much younger. This is not confirmed. We'll just have to find out.

Linda Hunt has been cast in CBS’ new drama spin-off series NCIS: Los Angeles as a regular. Her character will oversee the “backroom” support staff tasked with providing everything from micro surveillance cameras to cars for Callen (O’Donnell) and his team. Efficient, hard-nosed and resourceful after years of being a Miss Fix-it in the film industry, she seems tough but genuinely cares about Callen and his team.

She will fill the void left by the departure of Loiuse Lombard, who co-starred in the pilot with by LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell, which is set at the Office of Special Projects, a division of NCIS that is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals that pose a threat to the nation’s security.
The switch is not a direct recasting as Hunt will play a new character. Louise Lombard, who appeared in the backdoor pilot as Macy, was dismissed last month. It’s still unclear whether she’ll be replaced.

I also have news on Adam Jamal Craig. It seems to be that he will actually be on NCIS: LA!!! Many sites have released his schedule!

Read This Too: Craig wasn't in the two-part "NCIS" episode that set up the "Los Angeles" spinoff, but he'll join the cast in the fall as a young agent. He was in the cast of CBS' pilot "Washington Field" earlier this spring, and after it didn't go forward, network execs recommended him to "NCIS" executive producer Shane Brennan, the HR says. Ziva will return in Season 7. Yes of course! So she won't die or stay at Mossad, duh! She will be a changed woman though.

While the return of NCIS and its seventh season is still a good four months away, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo recently talked to ET Online about their team-up, and how it has further boosted the popularity of the already highly rated show. Their on-screen chemistry, after all, is one of the reasons why the series is such a hit.

"They want to know how hot [she is], says Weatherly, when asked about the one thing that he is asked most often about his partner. "I had a guy at the airport and he was all about the Ziva. He wanted to know if Ziva is dangerous and sexually charged."

Weatherly, who plays Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, and de Pablo, who plays Officer Ziva David, a Mossad agent from Israel on loan to NCIS, apparently clicked, if their new Tiva nickname courtesy of loyal NCIS fans were any indication. The 29-year-old Chilean-American actress admits, however, that it didn't start rosily with Weatherly when she suspected that he was out to sabotage her audition for some reason.

"I walked in and there was another girl auditioning, so two people were testing for the part, and she went in first. She was kind of flirty with [Michael] and I wasn't. Halfway through the audition [Michael] leaned over and grabbed my hair and did something off book, which he often does and I did not because I come from New York and the theatre."

After the audition, though, executive producer Donald Bellisario asked Weatherly to give the New York resident and therefore car-less de Pablo for a lift, which he willfully said yes to, and that's when things started to get better. In a separate interview, meanwhile, de Pablo reminded everyone that Tiva already kissed on the first season of the show.

Rocky! Rocky! Fans of NCIS director Leon Vance will find the coming TV season to be twice as nice, as Rocky Carroll will pull double duty on CBS' NCIS and its spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles, TVGuide.com has learned.

Carroll was promoted to series regular status on NCIS this past season, as Vance replaced the late Jenny Shepard as director. Moving forward, the actor tells TVGuide.com, "I'll be keeping my normal routine on the 'mother ship,' and I'll be doing at least six of the first 13 episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles."

In a recent entry on his TVGuide.com celebrity blog, Carroll said he had "a feeling that Director Vance will occasionally appear on the spin-off, just to keep an eye on things." Similarly, NCIS executive producer Shane Brennan told us, "Someone like the director of NCIS might end up having to work with the other agency [NCIS: LA's Office of Special Projects]. That could well happen."

NCIS: Los Angeles stars Chris O'Donnell, LL Cool J and Linda Hunt. The spin-off, which was introduced via a pair of May sweeps NCIS episodes, kicks off its first season Tuesday, Sept. 22 — where it will lead out of NCIS' own Season 7 premiere.

Carroll's other acting credits include TV's Roc and Chicago Hope (for which he was twice nominated for a NAACP Image Award), and the films Crimson Tide and Born on the Fourth of July. This past spring, he received an honorary doctorate from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.

DEA Agent Emily Garver and police officer Heather Pearson meet Tim and Tony, but will they appeal to the one who makes the final decision, Gibbs? But nobody forgot Ziva. Since her return to Mossad, she has been supervised by NCIS. But 3 weeks after Aliyah, there has been no new information. NCIS is concerned, Ziva seems to have disappeared… but Special Agent Chad Dunham, in infiltration in the Moslem countries, may have located her...
Other notes: It isn’t known if Cote de Pablo will appear in the episode. The episode will be unusual in the time aspect – passages will take place in August, then May, and keep switching.

Here's something I found for NCIS: Los Angeles

How will the producers of NCIS make sure that fans tune in to the show they don't switch the channel after the end credits and stay put for NCIS: Los Angeles, the spin-off? One way will be with crossovers. We've already reported the [COLOR=#007dc3]Rocky Carroll will appear on both shows[/COLOR], now comes word that NCIS mainstay [COLOR=#007dc3]Pauley Perrette will do a two-episode stint on NCIS: L.A.[/COLOR]

And they aren't waiting for the guest stint. In the second episode, Perrette's brilliant, goth scientist character, Abby Scuito, will do a "fun little cameo" according to exec producer Shane Brennan.

If you ask me, this might be just the beginning of these types of maneuvers. Placing the two NCIS's back to back on Tuesday nights, it just makes it easier to envision story lines that would involve both teams. This is especially true because of the way it was set up in the pilot. High tech communications between Langley and L.A. are quicksilver, making use of all those monster monitors and touch screens. Abby's guest role on NCIS: L.A. could be achieved without her ever leaving her comfy lab.

By the way, in other NCIS: LA news, Six Feet Under's Mathew St. Patrick will be guesting on show. He's playing a former special ops operative who gets involved in a case. Whether he's a good guy or a bad guy, however, remains to be seen. Brennan hinted that St. Patrick may be back some time down the road. Brennan also confirmed the most obvious fact of all, that Chris O'Donnell's character, Callan, survived the shooting that left him bleeding on the road in the pilot. Somehow, it didn't seem likely that the series would've been picked up without the name star still alive and well and ready to carry on for 22 episodes.

I don't know... LL Cool J? I can't take this show seriously with him in it. The cast looks pretty bland to me. The cast of the original has much more character and credibly with Mark Harmon. I also liked Michael Weatherly and Sean Murray from the start. Actually, I pretty much like all the male actors, but I'm not too fond of the actresses.

I actually like the cast. I have no problem with it other than Linda Hunt & Rocky Carroll. I don't mind having Linda, but I'd prefer not to. I just don't like Rocky. It's already bad that he's on NCIS, now he's on the sequel!? Grr, he's a piece of BS. I'm actually very excited. This gives you a new taste of NCIS. Not the same old Major Case Response Team version. Now it's Office of Special Projects. I think I'll like it better.

What exactly is going on here? An alliance with the FBI? Asking questions on a suspect? Nope! Gibbs has put Tony & McGee in charge of finding Ziva's replacement! And I guess that is one of the candidates.
