    Default Keeper Gloves: Raise your hand if you're a goalkeeper

    I don't think that there are many soccer goalkeepers here. I've been one for 3-4 years. My favorite brand of gloves are Sells. So share your keeper gloves. What's your favorite brand?

    Wow, a goalkeeper. Do you have good reflexes?

    I love to play football (soccer). But, I don't play goalkeeper, most of the time I play as a tough-tackling defensive midfielder (and likes to drift forward too during attacks if possible).

    I play on the wing and I hate different ball designs too. especially the world cup 2006 ball. That ball was so light and you could get crazy inconsistant swerves.

    I have pretty good reflexes. I started goalkeeping actually because I had knee surgery and I cuoldn't do much running.

    Flashy balls are annoying. Personally I like this one because it's simple:

    Our school gear is sponsered by Nike I think. Anyway we had to share the uniforms with the boys so my uniform fit my dad who's a foot taller than me.

    My dad's soccer crazy. I have to train 7 days a week.
    Anyway these were my first pair of Sells gloves:

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.justsocca.com/img/product/mid/00001987.jpg')

    (I don't know if it's these exactly I think that they were slightly different but about the same)

    Fanatic indeed.

    I'm not sure if this counts, but I was a goalkeeper once. I successfully stopped the ball.........with my face. Needless to say, that was the end of my extremely short-lived goalkeeper career.

    I get hit in the face all the time. One time I made a face save and wound up hitting my head on the post. I'm always covered in scratches and bruises. My mom calls goalkeeping abuse. I like goalkeeping though. Right now my legs are covered in such bad bruises that it burns when anything touches them. I have a game tomorrow. I play for PWSI.

    Woa, that's why I will never be goalkeeper should I play any ball games. I am more likely to dodge than catch hold and smother a ball!
