As host, I said that many times already.Yushi can choose not to answer you know.
Then you're just saving me all the work before going back into hibernation. Now, if this turns into a return of the infamous relationship forum --> you all know what will happen to this thread.
Open question. What are your feelings on someone like William Hung, who achieved his 15 minutes of fame and pocketed thousands by being the subject of ridicule and humiliating his entire race by being the steretypical bucktoothed chinaman on center stage for all to laugh at?
How has being Asian impacted your life, either positively or negatively? For non-Asians, how has being ________ (whatever race you are) impacted your life, either positively or negatively?

In response to protests, an executive decision has been made to remove HuangYushi from the interviewee list.
Personally I was flattered and grateful when others voted for me in the first round, but I understand that this view may not be shared by everyone.
As host, I emphasize again that this interview series (rounds 1 & 2) was meant to promote fellowship on spcnet and allow members to know more about prominent members they are interested in. In no way it is meant to arouse discomfort or displeasure.
Protests and grievances, especially repeated ones voiced over private correspondances, shall be taken seriously.
Thank you for your attention.
Who protested? Pm me if not for public thx.
I guess some of the questions got a little too personal.
Here are what I said to interviewees in Round 1, and I plan to use them again:
Dear Interviewee, the question submission period has ended and our staff are now compiling and selecting questions. There shall be 10 questions for each interviewee, some general and some specifically for you.
Please let us know of any question allergies so we can avoid them.
Thank you very much.Dear Interviewee,
Below are the 10 interview questions for your interview. These questions, hand-picked by our staff, are representative of what fellow spcnet members want to know about you. Please complete them at your earliest convenience and return your response to me. These will then be reviewed for content by our staff and posted on the corresponding thread under “Academia”.
This interview is an opportunity for communication and fellowship on spcnet. You have been selected as one of the first 10 interviewees because members are interested in you. There are no obligations; you are free to skip any question (it shall be marked “declined to answer”), or ask me for a replacement question. On the other hand, please refrain from including indecency or profanity in your responses. Our staff reserves the right to edit or mask any inappropriate content.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
Thank you for your time, I sincerely hope you will enjoy this interview series as much as I do.

My dear Sugar, we are still at the stage where we are calling collecting potential questions for the interviewees. Old questions from Round 1 will also be considered.
After this stage (tomorrow) I, the host, shall review all the questions and choose 10 interesting but appropriate ones for each interviewee.
I will then personally contact each interviewee via PM and present him/her with the list of questions.
The interviewee answers the question set at his/her convenience. If they find any question to be inappropriate, they may skip it (it shall be marked "decline to answer"), OR ask me for a replacement question.
The interviewee then send the response to me via PM. I will review it for appropriateness before posting it on this thread for everyone to enjoy.
