Which of Zhang Wuji's women do you -like- the most?

As a human being, Xiaozhao's the 'nicest'. But these are characters in novels. I don't read novels for 'niceness' - I can get enough of that in real life - but rather for what's interesting. Zhao Min and Yin Li are interesting in the sense of being fun, but they also happen to be typical Jinyong male fantasy-women. They make for mediocre literature. Zhou Zhiruo, on the other hand, is about as much fun as being stabbed in the chest with a sword, but she's somewhat better-written (until the last chapter of Yi Tian, when Jinyong - characteristically - undoes all his work by reverting back to his indulgently sentimental self).

So I'll vote for ZZR. Because the way to a man's heart is through his rib cage.

voted for xz because chingmy was just too cute and spunky in the movie version and my favorite xz.

next is zzr. hated the movie version but gyy was just magnificent and therefore my next fav - even when she turned evil.

I get the joke but I don't think that is the best way in real life or a
story. Like in CCS how Meilin wanted to shoot Li ( only theoretically, though she accidentilly almost did) so he would always love her. And Meilin and Li were only like 10-11 years old.

No offense but I REALLY dislike ZZR. I think that she is a nothing but a BIG EVIL JERK.

Sorry if I was a bit harsh bit she was ZM's competition and ZM is in my opinion one of best characters ever!

i would pick xiaozhao too ~ i mean, isn't she super useful to have around? its nice to have a servant-like person around.

I vote for none of them. They all seem to annoy me in one way or another.

Xiao Zhao is always master this master that. She's an intelligent girl yet all she wants to do is be a servant to ZWJ.

Yin Li is delusional! She's forever trapped in the Butterfly Valley with a ZWJ who bit her.

Zhou Zhiruo is a pretentious weak crying girl who deep down has great ambitions and nothing but a selfish b****.

Zhao Min was cool until she met and fell in love with ZWJ. It was downhill after that.

Of the four I really only like Zhou Zhirou. I think her story and her character is the most interesting, eg her dilemma between love and loyalty to her master/sect, her willingness to make various sacrifices for Emei, her change in character after the wedding and again near the end of the story. In fact I feel she becomes even more adorable after she turns evil, in a different way, like yandere.

I dislike Zhao Min cuz of all the tricks and BS she piled on ZWJ. I hoped ZZR had killed ZM at the wedding with 9 yin claws Mei Chaofeng style!! I can't believe how ZWJ still decided to love her in the end. I guess women who are too smart and devious like HR and ZM can only be matched with completely dumb men like GJ and ZWJ...

Xiaozhao is too submissive, great to keep as a servant though.

Didn't care too much about Yin Li, she's kinda weird and her face is scarred.

XZ because she loved ZWJ enough to let him go where his heart desired. She was smart and useful (she protected the Ming followers when ZM poisoned them with the wood sword). She became the Persian Ming priestess and let herself be shipped to far away land.

XZ is pretty, selfless, and kind (as compared to the other three).
