I'm happy that the production is on halt to fix the costumes, but now I'm sad b/c there is no more pix/clips/news on it. . Hey designers, please hurry up and finish making those beautiful costumes so filming can start rolling again

I thougth Zhang Tie Lin was the worst YX, he was too fat and grunting most of the time. I liked the YX from the 1986 & 2000 versions.

I don't mind they re-use costumes for minor roles, but I will be upset if the main leads get crappy outfits, espcially for ZM. It will suck big time if the clothes are ugly looking while they took weeks to modify it.

i know i'm stating the obvious but even with that crazy make up job, gyy is prettier. i hope lj delivers. actually, she looks very sweet in the costume pix that i saw in the rotk thread. but she looks to have lost weight, thus appears more aged here compared to her costume fitting pix for rotk.

HXM was the only member of the cast who dubbed his own character in ROCH. LYF's voice was dubbed by a professional. Also, with the exception of Zhou Xun and Li Yapeng in LOCH, all of ZJZ's series had professional dubbers dub over the original voices of the actors. Unlike modern series, most mainland ancient series are dubbed.

In the clip I posted a page back, they were interviewing the actor for Prince Ru Yang (ZM's father) as he showed the reporters the dragon saber.

New pic of ZWJ and Zhu'er. They did put a real flower in place of Zhu-er's scar. Funny thing is Zhu'er resembles Sha Gu and Tian Shan Tong Lao. Probably because of the hairstyle. Her outfit looks quite nice though.

Crew member updated his blog with pics of ZWJ and ZZR. I think Liu Jing looks very pretty albeit too matured in the pics. Deng Chao is starting to look better and better with every new pic released. His face is not so black anymore.

And, another actress is set to join the cast for filming. She's Lu Chen, Liu Jing's fellow colleague- an artist under Cathay Media. There's no news on which character she'll play yet though. I've seen Lu Chen in "Da Tang You Xia Zhuan" and I find her a pretty sweet-looking actress. She also plays Li Yuanzhi in the latest Book & Sword.

In addition, actresses for Ji Xiaofu and Ding Minjun will be switching roles. Li Shun, who was originally cast as JXF, will now play DMJ and He Jia Yi (originally actress for DMJ) will now play JXF.

the director must be in shock. he wanted zhu er to look pretty, hence he chose to have a flower placed on her face. but that hair style is even more disastrous to her a girl's beauty than having a scar. i would rather get rid of the flower and give zhu er a better hairstyle if beauty is of such importance to this director.

To me she looks like she's about 16. I'm always amazed when I find out how old the actors are in these shows - they all look so much younger than their ages.

His face did look a bit dark in some of the other images, but that's probably because his makeup is intended to be seen under different lighting conditions than what the photos were taken under.
