Default Great blunt weapon techniques other than Dog Beating Stick?

Among blunt weapons techniques, the Dog Beating Stick Technique of the Beggar's Union Chief reigns supreme in wuxia. What other good blunt (i.e. non-bladed) weapons techniques exist in wuxia?

No, you need an actual stick or club.

No conflating one object for another, although that is a popular underlying theme of wuxia (it's all one).

Dog Beating is in no way inferior to any other technique, not even XL18P or YG's HIS, SHIS, or whatever it's acronym is. It's the user that matters. Huang Rong's martial arts was so weak that people tend to think that Dog Beating sucks. If the technique had been used by Xiao Feng at the Juxian manor, all the people there wouldve become dead dogs hours before Xiao Yuanshan could butt in. Anyway Wei Xiaobao's pistol technique is the ultimate dull-edged weapon technique.

Actually, it was pretty good. It was the one way she was able to hang with Greats-level fighters in combat (for a while, at least) despite her lack of Greats-level power.

Ouyang Feng's snake staff technique, which was only marginally inferior to the dog beating stick technique.

But never enjoyed the same reputation in wulin that the Dog Beating Stick Technique did, possibly because Au Yeung Fung himself was the only person known to have practiced it.

    Dugu Qiubai's wooden sword?

    No, technically that's a sword.

The blunt weapon must be designed to be used as a blunt weapon: to bludgeon, not to impale or cut.

How about the Sacred Fire Tablet. 3 of those things almost defeated Zhang Wuji. Even the mighty Xiao Feng would have some trouble with them (IMO). Now imagine if they're wielded by someone with 10x more power (those Persians were basically scrubs).

Yeah, they would fit the bill. Although not "sticks" in the classic sense, they're definitely blunt instruments best suited for blugeoning an enemy.

A little *too* blunt. Not really a stick-type weapon. "Skillful" use is effectively impossible.

In the Sword Stained With Royal Blood, Mr. Lu Qi (one of the best fighters in southern Zhejiang region) specialized in the cigar pipe weapon.

I dunno, given their low or non-existent inner power, I would think most elite fighters except for Mr Zhang Wuji would have thrashed them easily with inner power attacks like roars/LDA etc etc.

And Linghu Chong would somehow skewer all three of them even with one hand tied to his ankle.

In Gu Long, LinXinEr used her cup (\/) to the peak of perfection. Most sharp chalices (/\) were no match for her.

A vote for HYS's jade flute sword play too.

How many "great" weapon techniques were there in the JY universe anyway?

Where would the barometer for a 'great' technique be?
