oh!!!!!! you're talking about suki! well, that's what we call it. i've never been to a 'johnny's restaurant' before so i don't know what their sauce/dips tastes like. it really depends on the taste of the person who made it. there isn't a set recipe. the ones we made doesn't look like that and are floating with thai chili slices.

yah, it's getting cold over here so that looks really good right now. i should ask my mom if she wants to make that this week!

GuGu-sensei, I think Johnny's Thai Steambot restaurant only operating in Malaysia, or maybe also in Singapore.

Well if you are already in Singapore, you should just pop up to to Johor Bahru just across the strait from Singapore, about 45 minutes drive and ask your friend to bring you to AEON Jusco shopping complex in Tebrau City where this restaurant is located. Well in case if Johnny's is not available in Singapore.

Well, I don't know if Johnny's is authentic Thai (I do like it a lot, though), but the Coca restaurants in BKK has the same sauce as well.

I'm actually in BKK this week having a great time eating Thai food!!!!

I'll try to take some pics, post them and make everybody salivate.
