Default New Series - Great Qin Empire 2

《大秦帝国》 第二部 Great Qin Empire 2 is a big budget continuation of the earlier 2008 block buster Qin Empire that tells the background of how Qin kingdom became strong and laid the foundation for their future king Qin Shihuang to conquer all of China.

    Starring:

Actors:Ning Jing, Fu Dalong, Wang Xuebing, Fu Miao, Yu Entai, Yang Xinming

The first told the story of the Qin statesman Shang Yang, the reformer who had totally reformed both the political as well as the military and social systems to create a people totally convinced of their kingdom's destiny and future greatness. He paid for this achievement with his life as the noble court officers wanted his death for taking away their positions of power and influence in the court. Shang Yang taught that the king is not above the people of his kingdom and that the king is king only if he places the welfare of his people first and foremost. No nobility is above the laws of the land and even then king is subjected to these same laws. The old Qin king passed away and his young son stepped up. He executed Shang Yang but kept all his reforms in place and enforced them because he recognised how powerful they were in turning his once weak state into a kingdom that other bigger and more powerful states must treat with care due to the small but very disciplined and trained army backed by a loyal peasantry.

This new series had just aired Sept 6 by CCTV and so far 2 episodes had been streamed online. Very good storyline as the new king is tested by dangerous and hostile kings eager to destroy Qin state. Wei king even tried to outright assinate the young Qin king while he was on his way to a gathering of the various kingdoms's kings to annoint Great Lords.

Some of the links that talk about this new series but their English transliteration leaves much to be desired.

The Great Qin Empire belongs to China and I, ChunMay am right and correct about that. As a young person, I do not need to be a historian and I do not need to be an expert to know that you, Mrbsct", a caucasian man on historians/com are wrongfully trying to steal the great accomplishments of our Chinese ancestors from 2000 years ago. The Qin Empire does not belong to the annoying Roman empire. Mrbsct, you are wrong that "Daqin"" means Roman empire. That is not true that the Qin empire was called Qin because of the Romans.

That is not your decision about the family name of Qin which was given to him in the first place and coincidentally, hundreds and hundreds of years later, some literal translations refer to “Roman” but that was not the intention. The Roman army was not honest and many were liars in general, it has nothing to do with whether the common Roman people who were different heights, most were not tall, medium or not tall.

Please not the fact that Qin belongs to Qin Shi Huang who ruled as the First Emperor of the Qin dynasty from 220 to 210 BC. It is called the Qin empire because that was the family name of Qin Shi Huang and later, other emperor’s used this family name to pay respects to the first emperor.

Compared to ancient China and the 5000 year or longer history, the unrelated Roman empire did NOT rule other countries. Supporters of the Roman empire are jealous and racist of that I am a very pretty Chinese Asian girl and that I have a more beautiful and slender figure and more beautiful face. Those racist western people are wrong when they try to steal and invade foreign countries because our Qin dynasty history does not belong to the western historians. Those Roman women look very ugly and fat, the ones that wrongfully badmouth first our great country of China.

Those caucasian people from the US are mean, not nice to initiate writing swears "Fu@#$!%!!!) on the internet against the great Qin empire and other amazing Chinese empires. You are not correct that the Chinese Qin had great respect for the Roman empire and that is backwards. It is the Roman empire that had respect but was jealous of the Chinese empire. The Han knows their empire in China is much better even though they had respect for other empires.

China has many different dynasties ruled by the Son of Heaven and inventions from China that were invented and created a long time before the Roman empire -this Roman history is overrated and not as great as the Qin dynasty. The majority of Asian Chinese men and Chinese women did not like and hated the Roman empire for trying to impose themselves and trying to steal countries that do not belong to greedy Europe.

The amazing accomplishments of the first emperor of China who built the great wall are 300 times more awesome than the Roman empire You should know that Chinese martial arts and kungfu came from Shaolin and there is a lot of evidence to prove that Chinese martial arts are way better than the fat and bulky Roman warriors who were not as skilful. Have you not heard of the awesome Art of War (from China) which is used in current and modern times and respected and used by western people in the army and military?

It does not matter if some of the evil barbarian Roman warriors who are ugly, some may be tall men because the Roman warriors killed each other, slept with ugly Roman prostitutes and are not worthy of respect. Most of the Romans who were common people, not army people were not tall and were bulky or fat, not muscular, those are two different things. On the other hand, the great Terracotta warriors were tall and various Chinese men were more handsome and not fat and bulky like them. On the other hand, the great Terracotta warriors were tall or medium tall and various Chinese men are more handsome (the ones that are loyal to their own country and the people that do not like the foreign aggressive Romans)

It matters that the Great Qin Empire belongs to China and does not belong and does NOT MEAN the annoying Roman empire. Mrbsct, you are wrong that "Daqin"" means (no, no, no) Roman empire.

Please stop using the unrelated Roman empire to harass and bother Chinese guys and Asian Chinese girls who like the Qin empire, are more interested in the Qin empire. Various Chinese people (who are not whitewashed in a bad way) do NOT like and are not interested in the annoying Roman empire.

Compared to ancient China and the 5000 year or longer history, the unrelated Roman empire is not as great.

It is the Roman empire that had great respect but was jealous of the great Chinese empire. China has many different dynasties ruled by the Son of Heaven and inventions from China that were invented and created a long time before the Roman empire -this Roman history is overrated and not as great as the Qin dynasty. The majority of Asian Chinese men and Chinese women and Gang Ying did not like and hated the Roman empire for trying to impose themselves and trying to steal countries that do not belong to greedy Europe.

Even if Gang Ying met some merchants from Roman, any ambassador from different countries would pay respects even if he did not like the Romans. Paying respects as a foreign ambassador or a different role is part of Gang Ying's job and it does not necessarily mean that somebody admires or truly likes (no) the Romans. Sometimes, they respect that person and it depends on the situation. The Roman Empire has nothing to do and is not related to the Great Qin Empire of China.
